Had a accident and my reading glasses ended up got wacked into my eye which caused a blood vessel to break. My normally eye doctor was closed and pcp was closed just happened to call Midwest eye Consultant by my house they couldn't get me in but arranged for me to get squeezed in to there other location in Oregon within the hour. The staff was fantastic and they were very thorough, even though they knew I has a primary eye doctor they still treated me like I was one of theirs. I would recommend them to anyone and might even consider changing due to the hours being a bit more open. Great job, from from frontdesk to doctor!

I had an absolutely amazing experience at Midwest Eye Consultants. From the moment we walked in, the level of care and attention we received was next level. Dayna truly went above and beyond for me and my dad. I’ve been trying to help my dad figure out his vision and glasses situation, and honestly felt a little lost, but Dayna stepped in and made everything so much easier. She took her time, answered all my questions, gave thoughtful opinions, and made sure we understood all our options. You can tell she genuinely cares about helping people. Cathy, was also incredible and so helpful throughout the whole process. Between the two of them, we felt completely taken care of. It’s rare to find people who go the extra mile like this, and it meant a lot to us. If you’re looking for a place that truly cares about their patients and treats you like family, this is it. Highly recommend!

Love the lady's up front at the desk that check you in and welcomes you and are very nice and personable. If you have a smile they have one for you. I had to reschedule my appointment to this one and they were very considerate of why I had to and had no problem rescheduling. Tech that took very good care of me and was very gentle and sweet and answered all my questions.

I had a terrible experience from the moment I scheduled the appointment. Because I wanted to pay cash the scheduler Ashley ended up hanging up on me since I would not provide insurance. When I checked in there was obvious tension between the two ladies at the counter and one of the opticians needing money out of the box. The exam was the quickest exam I have had in 30 years.I selected this place because I have amblyopia and astigmatism and wanted appropriate care. I asked about RLE procedure and the optometrist was lacking knowledge on it and told me it was something they have never heard of and suggested Lasik. However I already know I'm not a good candidate for Lasik because of my high farsightedness and cornea shape. When I went to order my glasses I provided them the information on lenses I have ordered in the past and the optician suggested a cheaper polycarbonate lense to the high index lense. With my prescription the lense would be thick and distorted hindering my vision. The only change is I know need multi focal lenses and neither the optometrist or the optician could provide a clear recommendation on which would be best for me based on my prescription. I'll be traveling back to Akron for my next eye exam and consult on RFE. I was hoping to find something local.
