Just left walmart in Stephenville, TX. Multiple electric handicap carts were out of service for maintenance. According to one greeter at the door this has been a problem for awhile. After shuffling through the store and purchasing over $400 worth of products, then scanning and bagging my purchases under the watchful eye of a self checkout watcher, Then got stopped at the door and was required to show my receipt. This person fumbled with his phone for several minutes to scan my receipt, THEN wanted to go through my bags to scan bar codes on items. And yes I was getting perturbed. My wife had proceeded me out the door, and was waiting outside in nearly 100 degrees and thought I was being detained. I truly felt I was being treated as a criminal. The employee kept telling me it was store policy, yet he wasn't stopping any other non white senior citizens and No Manager was available. If this walmart's losses, do to theft by senior citizens, is that great then maybe they should bring in uniformed security. This place is differently Not the place to shop.

Please continue to keep your employees happy, like the gentleman who helped us today. Consider offering free health insurance to every employee, stock options, free tuition to any school or trainings, as well as flexible schedules. Spend as much money on equal pay & benefits as you do IT & security. Instead of happy wife happy life... happy employees happy (insert something else here that rhymes about profits or customers). Have a nice day:)

Thay have cheaper prices most the time depending what you buy. If you dont take every piece of meat to the scale in fruits and vegetables you will be over charged everytime. There hasn't been one till me that I didnt try to be charged for something from meats that wasnt.hakf a pound to a pound under except.hsmburger that is a pound.bit its always under what they say it is. They more than likely do like Tom thumb and weigh it frozen. Tom thumb Will raise the price on meat then.a week later drop it back to regular price take the 40 to 60 cents they added a week before then advertise a sale on the meat. Tiur not getting a sale at all.tour buying regular price. They also seal overtime from there employees. Lole Safeway used to they are actually Safeway but cant be here again as Safeway. That's a shame

My wife asked for an outside table and chairs set , needed help to get it. The guy just grabbed it off the shelf and put it in her basket. I don’t understand!!! Why are people lazy??!! No one helped her get it to her car or put it in. Absolutely unacceptable , ridiculous!!! I told her I would have left it in the basket and walked out!!! Lazy , oblivious, self involved, childish behavior!!!!!!

My local Walmart is going down the tubes as it soars to dredesign and update. Quality Control and customer service is the most horrid experiences lately. But nothing like today. Even after making a mistake with check amount, CS called, having to unload my basket (and bags) another time, being checked out a second time, 2 checked written (the kept the first one instead of voiding the transaction) - I walk away paying for the cost of my 2 checks, and still did not get the original request of $20 over my purchase. In the end/ it’s no big deal. However, the principle of the matter is the young CS female was NO help or encouragement to the cashier at all, the mistake was still happened, yet a it was my fault- or she tried to make it. I left frustrated and feeling so sad for the young cashier, and extreme disappointment with the CS! Come on Stephenville Wally World. Stay a little hometown vibes for us natives!! Please!
