When I called to make my 1st appt, the lady who answered the phone was dry and not friendly. Warning sign #1. She proceeded to take my Medi-cal number over the phone and appt was made. When I entered the office, there were 2 ladies and a man and no one said anything to me. I had to say good morning first and the reciprocation was as dry as month old bread. Warning sign #2. I wasted my time filling out old school paperwork only to be told that they only take straight Medi-cal. I just wonder what the point of taking my card number over the phone was if they weren't going to check eligibility before I came in. That's how every other medical office does it. Why take my number over the phone if you're going to wait until I physically hand it to you to verify? Maybe the doctor is good (hence the benefit of the doubt 2nd star rating) but front office admin needs new, efficient and updated procedures. 3 strikes.
