This place is a gem. I was taking my mother here and I decided to give it a try. Everyone is so attentive and kind. I just love Alisha in the Optical department!!! She got me together. She was very informative, attentive and kind as well. She definitely was very patient. Her customer service was above 100%. She was helpful and welcoming and encouraged me to step outside my comfort zone. I did and I love my new NO line Versace glasses!!!! I would recommend this place. Alisha walked me through everything and the process was so smooth. I thank her for making my experience all but amazing.

Overall, the facility is nice. I have waited longer than expected for appointments and they never seem to have an “available room”, but I am sure they try to see as many people as possible (another data point to support my comments below). I was extremely disappointed when I had a procedure done that was “covered by my insurance” and that they would “contact me if it was not covered”, only to discover that I was responsible for 637.00. I understand insurances are different, but make sure you have an understanding of the cost you will be responsible for before the procedure. This experience makes me feel like they care they care more about the money than the patient. I will not be going back. UPDATE: I was contact by Munster Eye Care and they discussed what they called a “miscommunication”. Informing patients the cost of inpatient procedure is something they have now decided to move forward with based on my experience. They also said there is nothing they can do to rectify it or compensate with credit because it would be committing insurance fraud. I asked about the 100 dollars in addition to the procedure I paid for the follow up appointment, but the follow up is not medically necessary, according to their office, which is why it was not considered a follow up appointment talent but instead a new appointment, even though she rechecked my eyes to make sure the procedure worked. Something else that would have been good to know and I wouldn’t have paid the extra money. I would still be very hesitant about going here. I am not convinced they do not put profit over patients even though they said it was not their intention. For a facility to do this after years of experience, it is either intentionality or severe lack of competency. Either way, I would not trust them with my health or my finances.
I've worked with Natalia Chramiec OD for 3 years now. She and her staff have treated me well. Alisha was a big help in helping me work within by budget for new glasses.
Visited for the first time in early 2025, the wait time to be seen was over 30 minutes however, it was the first visit so I figured it was just a busy day. I spent well into 2.5hours there, from start to finish. The majority of the visit is sit and wait. I had to return with my child for a contact fitting a few weeks later, and again waited around a half an hour after checking in for the appt. At that point, it was confirmed this is a pattern and not a one off. After a few months I had to return to have the contacts/prescription check up for my child, with yet another lengthy & wait well past my appt time. At the 30 minute mark of waiting I decided I’m done having my time disrespected so I got up and let the front desk personnel know I’d need a school note for my kid and to cross me off the check-in list. At that time the front desk personnel apologized for the lengthy wait and said she’d check in and see what could be taking so long. A member came out from the back and said “are you leaving or staying?” The tone what accompanied that statement was the final straw for me. No apology or accountability for the wait time. I asked for the office managers contact number and left. After calling and leaving a voicemail, the office manager called me to try and smooth the situation over and confirmed the lengthy wait time for the last 3 visits. Said they should never be this long. He offered to make it right but I thanked him for this time and said no thanks. They provided a year supply of contacts so hopefully they’ll get it together by the time a refill is needed. Well, fast forward to today’s visit for a refill on contacts for my child. Appt was at 8am, signed in by 8:00am And wasn’t called back til about 8:29am. One of the techs asked for my child to take their contacts off for a check, to which I stated he would need to use these contacts for the remainder of the day, after the appt. The tech Carrie then said, “we will not continue the appointment if they aren’t taken off” Again the tone and disrespect is way too frequent. Instead of going back and forth with Carrie, I simply asked for the office manager that happened to be Evan, again. I asked Evan for a contact case + solution for my child to be able to preserve/use the contacts for the remainder of the school day. I pointed out to Evan that Carrie really missed the mark on providing solutions regarding patient care. Evan was apologetic and super helpful. He has great de-escalation skills and seeks results. I get that everyone has bad days at work, however this is a frequent pattern at this location. I will be transitioning my child from this establishment due to the disrespectful wait times + plus staff.
I had to come back and change my starts from 5 to 1. I called to let them know I am running low on the eye drops to dilate my eye and wasn't sure if once I finish the bottle that was it. The lady told me the only eye drop they have is a green top if I know the name of the one he gave me. I think told her no because the bottle is at home and they should know. Crazy how they are not aware of anything and very upsetting. Still waiting on a call back to see what is suggested. It's a shame they explained I can use my vision if I do not use those eye drops to them not knowing what was given to me. Waste of my money.
