I rarely buy glasses, so I wanted to shop around. We took my new prescription over on a Friday night and met Norm who was very helpful. We said we would be back, and he said, "I'm not on commission. Hope to see you again." I returned on a Monday and the place was incredibly busy. It was toward the beginning of the month, and someone mentioned that people who get their funds once a month come to Walmart then. I waved to Norm who was occupied, and Roger took care of my new lenses. Unlike other stores, you can keep your glasses until your lenses are ready. Roger said it would be about two weeks, but I got a text in a week, and returned to get my lenses. Roger is a friendly army veteran who is extremely helpful. He has developed his own way of cleaning glasses, and he gave me the demonstration on each visit -- including two lens cleaning kits the second time. Roger is a model of excellent customer service, and a delightful person to meet when you're dealing with your eyes. You may want to visit when the store is less busy. Those who complained here about the service may have visited when Walmart was overrun. It's an extremely busy store where finding a parking spot can be difficult. I don't usually shop at Walmart, but their vision store is a separate unit in the front of the store, and is staffed by professionals who are helpful, friendly and efficient. They deliver a great service.

The staff at the Nottingham Store were absolutely attentive, helpful, and knowledgeable Norman and Roger worked with me on a complex script for brother about a week ago. When I brought my brother back today Roger worked with us to get the best frame for the lenses. The final cost was less than half of what we expected to spend. As result of my experience a week ago and today I would not hesitate to recommend the Center as 5 star.

Today we had the best experience at the Walmart Vision Center in Hamilton. My husband buys two pairs of glasses every 2 years, one transitional, which he wears for work, and a second pair for every day use outside of work. Both pairs had scratches on the lenses and needed the lenses replaced. But one of them also had the frames all bent out of shape and loose. We thought we needed to buy new frames for it (the frames aren't covered under the replacement warranty). Norman was the person who helped us. He ordered the replacement lenses for both pairs. But then he went above and beyond for us. Norman actually fixed the frames, saving us money on purchasing new ones. They were bent and weak, causing one of the lenses to pop out of place. We really didn't think they could be saved. Norman could have said we have to buy new frames for it, and we would have agreed, but instead, he took the time to fix and tighten the old ones. He did a great job. Norman also explained the process of how the lens are made and how they get scratched with swirls in the center like my hubby's were. He was professional, informative, friendly, and caring. We could tell just by speaking with him that he actually cares about the customer, not the bottom dollar. That is a rare commodity in this day and age. And we are extremely grateful for Norman. He made our visit pleasant. Thanks Norman, you're the best!

Norman is so helpful! We take the whole family to this store for glasses. They have a great selection of frames. I was even able to put my prescription into my favorite Maui Jim frames.

DAVE IS INCREDIBLY RUDE!! Ms.Sherri and the other man that works there are angels from heaven, but that Dave has a very condescending tone and attitude when he speaks to you. He has been this way towards other clients and I multiple time I’ve gonna there. Either retire or get your damn act together, because I promise you I will be calling your corporate supervisor.
