What an awesome welcoming Office! The staff were very pleasant, and after explaining my situation, very accommodating! Shout out to Rebecca, the optician, who went out of her way to make sure I was satisfied. Additionally, the office is super clean and I highly recommend the practice for your eye care!

I cannot say enough great things about New Paltz Eye Care! I was visiting from out of town and realized I had forgotten my contact lenses — total panic mode. I called them hoping for a miracle, and that’s exactly what I got. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, and they set me up with sample packs so I could enjoy the rest of my trip without missing a beat. They truly went above and beyond when they didn’t have to. This is what exceptional, community-centered care looks like. If you’re local, this is THE place to go for all your eye care needs. I am shocked to hear myself say this but I had a blast at NP Eye Care this morning. Dr. V hooked me up with my first ever glasses rx (I've been in denial for the past several years). He was friendly, knowledgeable, and super approachable. It's refreshing to see a doctor who isnt hiding behind a white coat. Dr. V was open, smiley, human, and entirely unpretentious. Just a regular young guy with a particular niche of expertise. And then Rebecca and I went shopping for glasses - the part I was dreading the most actually ended up being such a fun treat. Their selection was ample and fun and the whole staff got involved in helping me make my decision. What a joyful experience! No wonder all my friends love coming to this office. I'm stoked to have joined the ranks.

Hands down the BEST BEST BEST! Dr V is a top-notch optometrist, has great energy, super thorough and really takes the time to explain things in an engaging and down to earth way. His staff are off the charts helpful, caring, warm, professional and always go the extra mile. Rebecca and Kim totally rock!! What really puts this practice over the top, is that in addition to exceptional, quality care they provide is when you walk in the office you are greeted like a dear friend. Everyone is happy and the energy is amazingly positive. It is legit FUN to be there, and I always leave with a huge smile. Makes me wish I needed to go to the eye doctor every week. SO happy to have them in our community!

For years I've used a different optometrist. Every time I would go for glasses they would pressure me into a lot of tests that had just been done with my ophthalmologist. Every year I paid out of pocket for those tests. This year I found Dr. Verruto. He waived most of the tests. More importantly he was skilled and caring. He discussed my dry eye with me and offered a solution. He took plenty of time to be certain the glasses would be the exact prescription I needed. He was warm and friendly. I then met the optician. She too was warm and friendly. She helped me pick out a pair of frames without rushing me. She answered all my questions and was clearly knowledgeable. I've been wearing my new glasses for a couple months now and I'm very happy with them. I highly recommend Dr. Verruto and his team at New Paltz Eye Care.
