We had an amazing experience with Dr. Hariharan and Nicole. My 7-year-old can be a tough little one at appointments, but they were both incredibly patient, attentive, and genuinely fun, which made her feel so comfortable throughout the visit. They took their time, listened carefully, and were very thorough — even repeating tests to make sure everything was accurate. Most importantly, they explained my daughter’s eye condition in a way that was clear, reassuring, and easy to understand. You can truly tell they care about their patients and want the best for them. We left feeling informed, supported, and grateful for the level of care we received. Dr. Hariharan is the best and so is Nicole! Highly recommend!

I wish there were an option to give zero stars. This place operates like a factory. They collect your copay immediately, then call you shortly afterward, giving you the impression that you're about to see the doctor. Instead, they take you to a room for a quick eye exam, only to send you back to a crowded waiting area packed with people. After waiting more than 45 minutes just to see the doctor, I was ready to leave—but by then, they had already collected my payment. If you value your time and expect to be seen within a reasonable timeframe after your appointment, this is not the place. I will not be returning.

My 1yr old loves her glasses! We immediately noticed a difference in the way she was looking at things during the 1st week of her wearing them, she was finally able to see the details in things. She almost never takes them off so I know she’s comfortable in them. We love our doctor Dr. Lux Hariharan! I can’t recommend her and the staff enough.

We had such a great experience at NJ Eye and Ear. Our son has autism and is very sensitive to new environments and unfamiliar situations, so we were nervous about how the appointment would go. Dr. Hariharan and her entire team were so patient, kind, and understanding from start to finish. They never rushed him, especially while getting his scans, and gave him all the time he needed. Dr. Hariharan also incorporated sensory-friendly testing, which made the experience so much easier and even enjoyable for our son. We left feeling so grateful for the care and compassion they showed our family. It truly made all the difference, and we highly recommend Dr. Hariharan and her team, especially to families with children who have special needs.

As a parent, the situation felt emotional and overwhelming for me, but they made me feel completely supported every step of the way. A special thank you to Ianna and Arturo, who were amazing with my daughter during all of the testing before we saw the doctor. They were so gentle, thorough, patient, and reassuring, and truly helped make the experience much less stressful. Dr. Hariharan was absolutely amazing. She took all the time in the world with me, never once making me feel rushed, and answered every single question with so much compassion and understanding. You can truly tell how much she cares about her patients and their families. What meant the most to me was that she even checked on me the next day, which says so much about the kind of doctor and person she is. I am beyond grateful we found this office and would highly recommend Dr. Hariharan and her team to anyone looking for exceptional, compassionate care! Thank you Dr. Hariharan and staff!! ❤️
