Ive been a loyal patient for 10+ years. Their front office, optometrist and opticians are all very professional. Shout out to Ruby that assisted me with my glasses today. They stayed open for me even though I was a little late. Great customer service 👏 Loving my new sunglasses 👓
The doctor was great, but the optician, Lisa, felt qualified to tell me I was wrong, and provide her input on the medical/vision services. She does not listen. I wonder where she got her medical/optical license. I am a long time patient at north county eye center and was treated very poorly by Lisa.
As a new patient, they were able to except me right away. The place was nice and spacious. I was greeted immediately and felt very comfortable. The nurse and the doctor were professional and friendly and answered all my questions with patient and knowledge. I will definitely come back , as needed.
Doctors and staff are great. Doctors show great concern about my heath. What I’m not happy about is having to make two different appointments: one for general eye exam and second for glaucoma check. This means two copays. I’ve gone to this practice for years and up until a couple of years they always did both in one visit. Their claim is insurance doesn’t like eye exam and med exam billed at once. So I say take time to separate claims and don’t inconvenience your patients. Sounds like practice management decision to me.
I would give 0 star if i could. It is a Very DISHONEST business. They told me retinal screening is included in the regular eye exam and I confirmed with them twice! But when I arrived for the appointment, they said I’ll have to pay to get the service. It’s such a waste of time to even pay any dollar to a dishonest business like this.
