Dr Currier did both cataract and eyelid surgeries for me. I could not be happier with the results! He is very knowledgeable and personable. I have recommended him to both my family and friends, and will continue to do so!

Not a very great experience. I wasn't confident in my care while in the office. Barely tells you anything while doing the exams. Was given a basic eye exam when I specifically asked for a contact exam. Also, didn't tell me what they were doing when putting dilating drops in my eyes so I was caught completely off guard and unable to see when leaving. I know dilation is usually standard but at least telling someone that is what you are doing before putting the drops in would make a lot of sense. Not a very enjoyable experience at all. Staff don't care if you have questions or concerns and brush them off.

Dr Currier may be a competant doctor, but dealing with the office and him were the worst experience I've had with any health care provider. First, my email and SSN were given to a third party and within days of making the appointment I began recieving email spam. Dr Currier denied they gave it out, but the office later confirmed it after I provided a hard copy of the message. I had two appointments. A reminder call before the 2nd told me the wrong date. When I arrived for the 2nd appointment (St Ignace) the office opened 1/2 hour late presumably due to cold weather and minor ice on the roads (I was given no explanation, but I was on time after a 20 mile drive). So my visit began one hour late. As part of the nd visit I was given the same exam as the first, which was not the purpose of the visit. My left eye was unnecessarily dilated for the exam I was there for, possibly affecting the results. I did not recieve the results of the 2nd exam until I requested it in writing (much later than the billing I received for the same visit). The billing did not even indicate the correct date for the first visit. And billing for the 2nd exam was in error, which they corrected. I'm not even sure what I was billed for because it's all in code. But I paid it because I want to put this experience behind me. And I paid using a bank cashiers check because I don't trust them with my bank account number. I do not recommend using this provider.

Dr. Currier absolutely did everything that he could to help me. The best was things that would aid other medical issues. I appreciated this so much. Only downside is that like most good professionals, he was very busy

Dr. Currier and his staff have been nothing but amazing to me. I had a cornea laceration through 5 layers. In my left eye and a right eye abrasion due to Glass cutting my eyes. He restored my right for me to see 20/20 vision. Mt left eye is still blurred but I have an appt to talk further on getting me to see which is not his fault. He also went above and beyond for me in fixing scars on my face. The techs all treated me like family and also went above and beyond. Dr currier gave me his personal cell number to call if I had any questions concerns or emergencies. Highly recommend Dr currier and his team. Even if it wasn't eye problems I'd trust him with my life. Very genuine kind and comforting. Thank you northern eye for all your hard work sympathy and comfort.
