I had PRK surgery performed by Dr. Eric W. Johnston, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. He explained everything clearly, step by step, which made me feel comfortable and confident in both him and his team. I didn’t feel a thing during the procedure, and my recovery has been smooth so far. Just the normal tearing and mild aches. I'm really glad I chose to have the surgery done at Morris Eye Group. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and every appointment has been efficient with minimal wait time. I always get my questions answered thoroughly, without ever feeling rushed. I would absolutely recommend Morris Eye Group to my friends and family.

Dr. Johnston diagnosed my eye issue right away and came up with a solid strategy to treat it. He explained everything very well and had a very calming voice that made made me feel safe throughout the procedure. I would definitely go back to him again if I had to do any eye surgeries in the future! Thanks to the very nice staff as well!

The surgery was surprisingly quick and painless. Nurse Abby was tender and calming, I appreciated her demeaner as I was a bit nervous to let someone operate on my eye. Recovery was easier than I had expected and the results where amazing, everything was clearer and brighter. The cataract surgery has so improved my quality of life that I am going to have the other eye done, even though it is not nearly as bad.

My experience at Morris Eye Group in Encinitas was excellent. I have been going to Morris over the past two years and I must say all of my visits have been excellent. They are extremely well organized and their employees are all very knowledgeable and professional starting at the front desk when you check in. If you have any concerns about your eyes, do not hesitate to make an appointment with them. You too will be glad you did.

My cataract surgery was incredible. The results are unbelievable, but the staff and doctors are what really put this experience over the top for me: Fantastic people who obviously take a lot of pride in the work they do. The results are unmistakable. 2 months now, since the surgery... My review is unchanged: This has been a life-changing experience for me, as far as my sight is concerned. But I do feel it necessary to call out the two people who helped me through this the most: Dr. Moshtagi and Dr. Johnson. Adjusting the lens was the difficult part of this for me. I struggled through it a bit, though Dr. Johnson was extremely patient and very kind in his guidance. We got through it. Dr. Moshtagi was an absolute pleasure to work with. I can't recall an experience I've had with a doctor who was as kind, personable, and professional as Dr. Moshtagi. Something I've never said before: I looked forward to my follow-up visits because ALL of the people at Morris (not just the two doctors I've mentioned) are so good - very much a team dedicated to a patient's satisfaction. I have no words to accurately describe how good this experience has been.
