5/18/26 My visit to Oakland Gardens Eye Care was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The office is modern, spotless, and very welcoming, but what truly stood out was the incredible family atmosphere. This brother-and-sister duo works so well together and truly makes patients feel cared for the moment you walk in. As someone who calls myself and my own brother “the Wonder Twins” — and we’re 6 years apart — I could instantly recognize that same close bond between them. The way Dr. Nerry spoke about his sister with so much respect and warmth was honestly beautiful to see. You can tell they genuinely enjoy working together and have built this practice with love and dedication. Dr. Nerry is extremely knowledgeable and takes the time to explain everything about your eye health in true layman’s terms so you fully understand what’s going on with both the inside and outside of your eyes. He makes the entire experience comfortable and stress-free with his energetic personality, humor, and professionalism. Not to mention — yes, I’ll say it — he’s handsome too! 😊 Polite, funny, patient, and genuinely caring. You can tell this family practice is built on trust, kindness, and real passion for patient care. If you’re looking for an eye doctor who combines expertise, personality, and a welcoming environment, I highly recommend Oakland Gardens Eye Care!

Rehanna and Shelby were absolutely fantastic. They exhibited remarkable patience while assisting me in choosing a new pair of glasses. Their attention to detail in their work was impressive, and they were wonderful to talk to. Dr. Kristina provided a wealth of information during her examination. She also assisted in selecting my new glasses. I highly recommend visiting for an eye check-up!

My son and I had a very pleasant experience at Oakland Gardens Eye Care. All of the staff are friendly and personable. One thing that especially stood out was the staff greeting patients by name as they walked through the main doors - a small gesture but a very warming one. Staff are also patient and take their time to explain/answer questions. Dr. Kristina is also wonderful - my son is naturally curious and full of questions and Dr. Kristina took the time to show him his results and explain in understandable terms. Had a great experience here!

Love this place! Everyone is so nice and helpful. They have a great selection of frames and the office is very clean and organized. I got a lot of help from the staff and even the doctor on what frame was best suited for my needs, felt like the whole team was genuinely invested in me. As a first time customer I had a great experience and will definitely be coming here for all my eye needs and highly recommend others do as well!

The entire staff was fantastic and supportive. We were in desperate need of an appointment and we got seen right away. The doctor gave insight into what was causing us our vision problems and gave thoughtful recommendations in addition to new prescriptions. The team spent more than 30 minutes helping us each pick out the frames of our choice and made sure to only offer us options within our insurance budget. I cannot recommend this business enough! We will definitely be back soon for an additional pair.
