I was able to make an appointment quickly and the staff were SO nice. Everyone was very friendly and pleasant and got me in and out so quickly. The doctor made me feel at ease. Will definitely return!

This year we ask for generic prescriptions eye drop which will be covered by our insurance, dr Scott says ok ,coz last year also we couldn’t get our prescription. When we go to pick eye drop, pharmacy said something like “it’s not authorized or covered by insurance(generic -$300, brand $1000) you have to talk with dr office, we have also sent prior authorization but dr office is not responding.” We Also called and talk with insurance two times and emailed details several times ,they ask for pa forms(prior authorization)completed supposed to be filled by dr office, we called dr office many times for this PA form (prior authorization form)to be filled out and let us know what’s going on .but they always divert call saying Morgan will take care and she won’t pick nor responded on this, I left voicemails many times, dindt heard from her. Now it’s more than 18days we didn’t get any prescriptions for pain and burn on eye and didn’t hear back from them.

Cataracts are their Money Maker! IF you do go here be Prepared to Pack a Lunch, as they are Always way Overbooked! Don't even Think about Walking thru their Door without First & Foremost Paying your Co-Pay because ALL that matters here is Money! First of ALL I got an Eye Infection after my very First Visit here & things are very Impersonable! This was a Second Opinion for me on Cataracts. Dr. C. Diagnosed me with Bi-Lateral Cataracts. The First Doctor only Mentioned One Cataract! I did have my Cataract Sugery Completed in May, & was seen @ the End of June for my Follow Up, Sadly Thinking this would be my Final Visit there but, No they want to see me AGAIN in 5 Months. When I Questioned Why I was told some Story about my Retina's. I told the Girl @ the Desk that No one Mentioned a Word to me about my Retina's. She went back to Clarify with Doctor D. & Returned & said No they just want to Check the Interoccular Lenses. So when will I Ever be Released from this Eye Factory? I don't happen to Think Ever, & Why? MONEY!!!! I do Not want my Eyes Dilated AGAIN, so I will Likely Cancel! So Think Twice before Considering this Place! One more Thing, you will Recieve Survey's after your Surgery & IF you don't do them they will just Resend them. I've Written "DO NOT CONTACT"! & I Returned them! I have also Called & Requested Removal from any & ALL of their Continuous Mailing's as I don't want anything to do with these People. My only Recommendation would be to go anywhere else where you will be Treated as a Human Being First & Money isn't their First & Only Priority #1!!!!

Dr. Cibik took her time at our consult to really understand what would be best for me and help me to make the best decision. The surgeries could not have gone better. The staff at both the Monroeville office and West Mifflin surgical center were exemplary. They were efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. I can’t praise them all enough.

I had cataract surgery in December at this facility. Since then I have been very unhappy regarding my follow-up visits. Today I was so completely and totally dismissed by the ophthalmologist that I saw. I made the appointment because I am concerned about my eyes on a couple of different levels. Which I think is quite natural. Cataract surgery is unique in the challenges it presents. He was rude. He was dismissive and at the end of the appointment he had not satisfied any questions I had because he insisted that I was maybe talking to fast for him. I would really like to not go back, however, I am sort of between a rock and a hard place, am I not.... they did my surgery. I need follow up care, but they simply don't care!!!! As I age, I believe more and more that doctors in general are dismissing seniors. Maybe it's because of Medicare. I don't know but as a retired nurse, I know that this was not something that happened during my years of nursing.
