As a veteran, I was directed to The Northeastern Eye Institute through the VA's (Care in the Community) program, and I am extremely glad I was. First off, what an absolutely beautiful facility! The front staff is incredibly helpful. They point you exactly in the right direction, and everything is very well labeled, making the building very easy to navigate. As for the medical staff I worked with, hands down, they made my one hour drive completely worth it. They were so professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. Now, my doctor. Let's start with this: he walked in and gave me one hell of a handshake. As a man, that told me everything I needed to know right from the start. After that, we got straight to business, and wow. I walked out of that office knowing more, understanding more, and feeling more comfortable than I have at any other facility, and I have been to a good number of them. Highly recommend!

This was my second visit to Northeastern Eye Institute and it went well. The check in kiosk was manageable and efficient in that I was also able to pay my copay by using it. Reception staff were a bit on the cool side but what they lacked in warmth was made up by efficiency. The medical staff were informative and efficient. They were knowledgeable as well as encouraging. Dr. Peairs was excellent. He was thorough, informative, and personable. I highly recommend he and his staff if you have retina issues.
My 7 year old (the patient) says: “it was great. The eye puffs were a little shocking but everything else was good. They were really kind and Dr Tempesta instructed me well. I think the place is a fantastic place for kids to go.”
My experience was great after it took 10 minutes to use the kiosk to sign in then was sitting in wrong area. After I was told the right place to go it was the best. Even when I got my eyes dilated they helped me to the waiting area. The Dr's assistant were great and Dr. Jordan was great and understanding. I was actually glad to go here i was spoken to with ease and we all understood each other when speaking to each other. Thank you so much for the great experience. Haven't been here in about 20 years but this is the best place to go. I will be back and making this place my eye doctor for years to come.
I wish all medical establishments were as efficient as North East Eye. Dr Boland is exceptional & so Professional. The entire staff is very very good, would recommend this. facility to everyone.
