I had a good experience at Optical Outlets on Park Boulevard in Pinellas Park. The staff was friendly, professional, and very helpful throughout the process. The eye exam was thorough, and they made selecting new glasses easy with a good variety of frames to choose from. What I appreciated most was how they helped me maximize my insurance benefits and clearly explained my options. Their knowledge and attention to detail made the process simple and stress-free. My only criticism is that even with a scheduled appointment, the wait time was longer than expected. However, once I was seen, the staff was attentive and provided excellent service. Overall, a positive experience with quality care and customer service. I would recommend them to anyone looking for eye care or eyewear.
Emily was so amazing to my grandmother. She was previously told she wasn’t able to get a good set of glasses with both sets of insurance. Today she came in and met with Emily and Emily went above and beyond to reassure my grandmother she could indeed get not one but 2 glasses covered by insurance and took the time to show my grandmother the options she had. As a granddaughter I’m more than appreciative that you have someone like Emily working at your establishment to give my grandmother the best help and treatment as possible. Thank you so much Emily!!
Been going here for years. Don't bother filling out the form they send you because when you get there you have to fill the same form out on paper. I checked with my insurance what I'm allowed prior but after my exam the guy up front told me I can keep my frames for reading glasses I paid $50 for Iast year. Then he tells me I owe him $40 for my long distance glasses. I asked if he could do better, he brought it down to $30. Asked for a senior discount & he said if I pick frames from a certain carousel of them, it brought it down to zero. But NEVER told me I was now only getting one pair of glasses. Then after leaving it dawned on me that he didn't take my frames from last year to put new lenses in them. I called & a girl told me I'm only getting long distance glasses !! Told her I need reading glasses more. So she said she's busy right now & she'll change my order to just reading glasses. I've always have gotten an exam & 2 pairs of glasses with them. If they don't make this right, I'm calling that news lady on TV that makes it right. Next year I will definitely go elsewhere!! A lot of scheming going on there. The CSR tells me one thing & then tells me I owe zero but never told me I'm only getting one pair of long distance glasses. I need my reading glasses more as I read a lot. Already told a lot of people NOT to go there. Then I getaways email saying they have 2 pairs of glasses for $68 & $49 eye exam. When I picked up my glasses I showed the girl my email. She said those are for only glasses picked off one certain carousel. Thar carouselis the one I I picked from !! So if you have eye insurance or a Medicare advantage plan, suddenly the frames on that carousel become the price your insurance allows yearly plus some. What a nice little scheme they have going on there. Isn't this price goughing or something against the law.
Been going this this location for several years. Very friendly staff, access to appointments, short wait times. The optometrist is excellent, thorough and very informative. The tech Yehiling is amazing and very kind. I have a rough time with thepressure test and for the first time in a long time she made it easy for me and I was actually able to get a reading.
