My last visit to this location was such a pleasant experience. I felt so lucky to work with Hayden- she really knew her stuff and helped me get the best deal for my glasses. She knew all about how to balance my insurance, and the stores deals to make sure I got exactly what I wanted at the best price. It’s super easy to make an appointment, or to just walk in. I also love that they will always accommodate my schedule and give quick and easy repairs if something is broken or bent. There are sensible and classic styles, as well as some funky and fun options! I personally love that you can tiny any pair of glasses to different shades and values (highly recommend getting pink glasses with pink lenses if you want to maximize your happiness on this earth)

A Review I’ll Never Forget ❤️ I honestly don’t know how to express my gratitude for Eye mart Express in Asheville. Because if it was up to the women at Staton optical, i still wouldn’t have the answers I needed today more or less leaving there with a peace of mind My son’s glasses were destroyed in a horrible accident, and after everything he had already endured, including plastic surgery He was left with stitches and sutures all over his face, ear, and neck, I was overwhelmed trying to get him ready to start school. We first visited Stanton Optical, where I was told by a women named Kelly I think? Black hair shorter and she had been employed there for two years after I declined the OCT scan, she went on to tell methat his prescription had changed so dramatically that something could be seriously wrong with his eyes. Terrified, I paid an additional the $**80 for an OCT scan, which thankfully came back normal. What a shock when she was so sure something was wrong right? The appointment took nearly two hours, and I left feeling scared, confused and without clear answers. Every time I would ask her a question she would start to say something and say hold on we’ll finish what we’re doing here and when we go sit down, we’ll talk about all that it’ll all make sense at the end. Well, I left just as confused as I was when I first walked in. The cost ended up being nearly $200 which was ridiculous. I think the woman knew exactly what she was doing, trying to scare me into getting it, knowing I have already dealt with so much I was super irritated when I actually found out that she read his old prescription wrong. When we arrived at Eye mart Express on Saturday, we Got to meet the sweetest people, Jody and Frank, who actually knew what they were doing unlike the people at Stanton optical! They were kind, patient and genuinely understanding. Jody took the time to review the paperwork from Stanton Optical and quickly realized that my son’s prescription had not changed nearly as dramatically as I had been led to believe. She explained everything clearly, answered my questions and gave me the peace of mind I desperately needed. I will NOT EVER be returning to Stanton Optical, but Eye mart Express will absolutely have my business for now on!
I came for a standard eye exam, and was seen by Justin and Dr. Campen. I don’t leave many reviews but felt compelled to here because the experience was so excellent. Justin administered the tests, which were fast and easy. Then Dr. Campen helped with explaining my updated prescription. He was patient, answered my many questions, and gave absolutely no pressure to buy contacts or glasses from the store. His only concern was meeting my needs. Thank you both! I’ll be back to you guys for my next exam!
Haden was the best customer service representative I have had the pleasure of dealing with. She made me feel welcome from the time I walked in and helped through every step of the way. She set up my eye exam and spent time helping me pick out my perfect sunglasses, helped get my glasses lens switched out and even helped with my contacts!! I would definitely visit her again!
After reading all of the reviews I was a little hesitant about going but I’m so glad that after a lot of calling around to other places and prayer God pushed me to go. My son is Autistic which at times makes appointments like eye appointments difficult. Thankfully the staff at the Patton Ave location were amazing and so patient with him, especially when he was becoming frustrated with how long it was taking during the lens screening ( which honestly did not take any longer than at any other eye doctor but to him it was taking forever). The staff were encouraging to him and were understanding when I would step in to calm him down. I also appreciated how affordable the appointment and glasses were, especially as a single mom, and how we were able to get his glasses the same day instead of having to wait. We definitely will be back.
