Dr. Gregory Pamel is a great doctor. It was my first time meeting him and I really like him. He’s gentle. He explains everything and it didn’t hurt me at all and I recommend him for any to anybody and my family members. The office workers are really great. They take a lot from the people I don’t understand that but they’re really great people. They’re really nice and they have a lot of patience.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Pass for years, and his care has consistently been outstanding. At my most recent visit, I noticed new members of the office staff, who were equally professional, courteous, and efficient. The office is always clean and comfortable, and wait times are minimal. I highly recommend this practice.

My visit to Dr Pamel was excellent from start to finish. The staff was welcoming and efficient, making the check-in process smooth and stress-free. I didn’t have to wait long before being seen, which I really appreciated. The staff and Dr Pamel were thorough, attentive, and took the time to explain everything clearly. They answered all of my questions and made sure I felt comfortable throughout the entire exam. It was clear that patient care is a top priority here. Overall, the experience was professional, well-organized, and genuinely pleasant. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for quality eye care.

I left with more questions than answers after my visit to Pamel Bay Ridge. I initially wanted to see Dr. Pass because my insurance said he was accepting new clients. I call to book an appointment and they tell me Dr. Pass isn't accepting new clients, but Dr. Tank is available instead. I agree and book, after checking reviews. You are immediately given documents to sign for two different $40.00 charges when you come in, among other standard paperwork. One is for agreeing to pay if you do not show up to an appointment on time, which I get. One is for actually checking your eyes, even if you have insurance that's supposed to cover your vision and prescription needs, which is touted as an extra service. They run some tests, then Dr. Tank comes in and speaks to you for a few minutes. She gives me a general overview of what I already know, which is that I have astigmatism, but she could not tell me how many degrees I have because I refused to pay the $40.00 out of pocket for a service I was supposed to receive that's covered in my insurance. So what was the point of even visiting an eye doctor if I can't get my vision evaluated? Dr. Tank asks me if I have my glasses with me, which I don't because they're old and I need new ones, which is one of the reasons why I came to the office. Nope. You need to pay the $40.00 for that too. The entire purpose of the visit was to check my vision and get glasses. I left with neither of those issues addressed, and rebooked an appointment for another day feeling pressured to pay the $40.00 and get my answers. I checked with my insurance and I saw that I am not supposed to pay this fee, so I cancelled early enough where I wasn't charged for an additional visit. All in all, my experience wasn't great. Everyone is polite and professional, so there are no issues in regards to how this all went about. But if you're not an informed customer, you'll be paying for something you're not supposed to, and this left a bad taste in my mouth. Especially when I wanted the actual doctor my insurance said was available. Please make sure you are informed and know what your insurance covers before you go. Do not feel pressured to pay the fee if your insurance covers it. Had I known that my visit would lead me nowhere, I would have went to another establishment.

I have been Dr. Pass’s patient for many years. He has always been a kind and caring physician. His staff is exceptional.
