I went for an eye exam and glasses, I was prescribed the wrong lenses, came back and had my eye checked again, this time she took her time, instead of running the office like a car wash or assembly line, and she said it was a big difference than the other exam, but the problem I’m having is I have been charged again for the mistake and wrong prescription in the lenses they made, and to make matters worse, they charged $ 200.00 for the frames. Clearly these are not $ 200.00 frames

I’ve been denying it for months, but I genuinely think one of the ladies that works at this place purposefully broke my glasses. After re-taping the temples every now and then, I finally took a good look at the damage and really analyzed it. Let’s start from the beginning: I went in one day to get my glasses tightened, the screws and all. The woman takes my glasses and then comes back out with my glasses completely broken. She said that “the machine had screwed it up.” I told her it was okay and that mistakes happen, She told me “thank you for understanding, people usually think we do it on purpose.“ Hearing her say that never sat well with me. Why are peoples glasses being broken so often to the point that they have to complain…? after tonight I finally gave in to the truth. ‼️The way the temples (the long parts that fold) are damaged, looks like they were snapped off/bent in the opposite direction.‼️Not sure how the machine could do that? I haven’t even worn the new replacement glasses which they made me pay for because the prescription was wrong. I tried wearing them for 2 weeks thinking my eyes just had to adjust. But no. I didn’t even like the way they looked. this place has no options unless you wanna pay a fortune for some good frames. They have a corner with “insurance covered glasses” and obviously the better looking ones are more expensive. If anything, they broke MY glasses, they should be the ones to replace it. I paid $80 for the insurance covered glasses. I really really REALLY loved the glasses she broke, and I’m so sad that I’m even pointing fingers. I still wear them taped up and broken, But it’s obvious that she snapped them. Not to mention, they kept having me come in because my eye pressure was high. Every visit afterwards, the doctor would tell me the same thing. “The pressure hasn’t changed, but come back in a few weeks so we can track it.” Maybe this is their way of getting us to come back even when there’s nothing wrong physically. I’ve seen other reviews similar to mine, but I didn’t want to believe it was true. Shame on me for giving this place a chance, and shame on them for doing a horrible job.

I received my glasses much faster than expected, and the entire experience was wonderful. Everyone was kind, professional, and very patient throughout the process. I especially love the Orange, NJ location and highly recommend it to anyone looking for great customer service!

Decent and clean environment with parking space. You get friendly and Professional service here in Parkway eye Care Center Dr Brown and Kimberly and the associate Doctors with the staff are the best ever! Keep up the good works!

Everyone was very nice I have beautiful pair of eyeglasses they really took time out to explain stuff to me and answer any questions that I had that will be my new eyeglass care place for me and I'm going to tell my family about them 50 Union Avenue first floor if you haven't been you have to go check them out they are the bomb
