Dr. Grace Wong is an excellent optometrist. I was referred to her office by my ophthalmologist and am entirely satisfied with the care and thorough exam I receive here. The staff is courteous and there is a nice selection of frames available if you need new glasses. There is a little wait to get an appointment but not a big issue. I recommend this practice for excellent eyecare.
I’ve been going to Pasadena Eye Care for years. Excellent job diagnosing my eyes, stigmatism and suggesting what I need in lens strength. I like the staff and doctors who do my eye exams. Dr Mike Wong and Dr Grace are wonderful. Friendly and helpful so I understand what is going on with my vision. While I have gotten my frames from PEC (and they have a good selection of frames) I will also take their notes and head over to Warby Parker on Colorado Bvd. PEC accepts my insurance (Vision Care) which covers most of the cost.
My family always has a great experience at this office. 2026 marks our 3rd visit with them & it starts from the friendly phone call,to the welcoming front office, to the thorough & friendly appointment with the doctor, and then patient picking out our glasses. The doctor is patient, thorough, and takes her time to answer your questions and has reviewed your file before she comes in. So she is reminded of the previous exams to compare with the current. They have up to date machines for all your exams but what really stands out is their welcoming energy.
After not visiting since 2021, my son and I recently returned to Pasadena Eyecare Optometry and had a great experience. The staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and made the entire visit smooth and easy. Dr. Wong is fantastic—very personable, professional, and thorough. He took the time to explain everything clearly and made both of us feel comfortable throughout the exam. It’s not easy to find a place that combines such great care with a friendly atmosphere, but this office does it well. We’re so glad we came back and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality eye care.
From the beginning of just scheduling, the entire process was seamless and welcoming. The front desk staff were incredibly kind, patient, and efficient, making check-in easy and stress-free. My examination with Dr. Wong was excellent. He was professional, thorough, and took the time to clearly explain everything while making sure all of my questions were answered. I truly felt that my eye health was a priority. Ordering my lenses was just as smooth. The staff were extremely helpful and patient, helping me through the options that best suited me! It was a fun fashion show. AND I truly didn’t feel rushed! Overall, the entire team at Pasadena Eyecare Optometry is professional, friendly, and genuinely caring. It’s clear they take pride in providing great service and making patients feel comfortable. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for high-quality eye care and a wonderful experience from start to finish.
