Colleen , Fely and La Ruby were fantastic helping me pick out a pair of glasses. Strictly professional and patient with me throughout the process. I have been coming for the past 10 years and will continue coming.
I needed glasses ASAP so I went to pearle vision july 23rd and found out they accept walkins and my insurance. I was preexamine and then saw the doctor and he said my prescription has change and the have offer my 25 percent off if I get another pair which I did along with my insurance. I was assisted by Colleen to find two perfect glasses and the next day they called me and said my glasses were ready. I came to get my new glasses and Fely had me try it on it was perfect. I feel like a brand new persons with two glasses thanks to everybody in pearle vision. I recommend this place to get your glasses.
Been coming to this Pearle Vision for over 20 years when they were located across the street. They have always been the best at getting my frames, lenses, and contacts right every time. I don’t even work or live in the area anymore but I still make the 40 minute drive to see Dr William, Fely and the rest of the team. They’re really the best experience I’ve ever had.
Appointment 1:40 pm May 26th 2026 - My interaction with the woman working the front desk was combative from the start. She immediately gave me attitude, defensively claiming that the store had tried to call me and that I hadn't answered. When she checked my insurance, she informed me that I did not have vision coverage. Wanting to proceed with my appointment anyway, I politely told her it was no problem and that I would pay out of pocket. Instead of processing my check-in, she simply stared at me with a blank expression, offering absolutely no assistance. Furthermore, I asked if someone could look at two pairs of my glasses. She flatly told me that she could not help me and insisted I had to return to the specific Pearle Vision where I purchased them in Oak Brook, IL. Because of her dismissive behavior and refusal to help, I left and contacted the Oak Brook location directly. The staff at Oak Brook explicitly confirmed that the front desk employee at your location was completely incorrect, that she absolutely could have helped me, and that she simply chose not to. To be treated with hostility, lied to, and turned away as a paying customer who was ready to handle the costs out of pocket is entirely unacceptable. This employee's behavior was unprofessional, lazy, and a terrible representation of the Pearle Vision brand.
Colleen is such a wonderful optometrist! She provides exceptional customer service and truly goes above and beyond to help each customer find frames that fit them perfectly. Be sure to stop by this location and ask for Colleen—you’ll be glad you did! 😊
