Pediatric Ophthalmology & Adult Strabismus

From the scheduling call through appointment everyone was very thorough. The Doctor and Intake coordinator took the time to listen and ask clarifying questions to make sure they understood my daughters symptoms. While the appointment was lengthy, we were well informed prior that the testing would take time. We did not feel rushed and the Doctor took time to explain the outcome and various treatment options. I am not sure why there are sub par reviews, they did an excellent job from appointment prep through diagnosis.

The nice lady we saw first was fantastic! Amazing with kids and so fun to have the tests ran since she made them “games”. Doctor was very friendly and helpful as well! Overall pleasant experience.

Doctor was great. Confusing why they bill under medical insurance and not vision benefits. We arrived to our appointment that was end of the day, and the office was closed and their phones went to answering service. When I called the next day they stated they had received a cancelation message, that I never sent. On my end I had confirmed appointment. I requested to speak to a manager and they never reached out, nor further communicated with me. Very disappointed that the office poorly handled this situation. I had taken a day off work and drove far for this visit. They charge a fee of $45 for cancelation within 24 hours, but then my appointment was canceled without any communication. Will not recommend or return.

Came here for the first time with my daughter, she absolutely loved all of the staff. Everyone from this office was extremely kind!! We will definitely continue coming to this office for her appointments and glasses!

I am incredibly satisfied with the care I received from Dr. Pennock and his staff. Dealing with a highly complicated case can be challenging, but the entire team has been exceptionally thorough, supportive, and professional.
