These folks were kind enough to fix my bent frames just on a walk-in (no appointment), knowing that I don't even live in the area, at no charge, all with a great attitude. THANK YOU! This kind of service is rare nowadays. If I lived in town, Heartland Vision would be my regular optician. The reviews are outstanding and I see why.

The people here are kind, however, after my second visit there is no chance I will use this eye doctor again. First time my wife and I went, we were charged $1200 for 3 pair of glasses and 9 months of contacts— the prescription in one of those glasses ended up being wrong. I just visited for my second time and this experience was even worse. Because I felt their prices were steep, I asked for a copy of my prescription to order glasses elsewhere. They told me their printer wasn’t working at the time and they couldn’t email the script due to HIPAA regulations. They said they’d call once their printer was working again. After one week of not hearing anything I called to check in and was told they’d be closed for an additional week. After a second week of not hearing anything, I called again and they said I could finally come and get my prescription. While I was on the phone I mentioned that I hadn’t seen any charges yet for my prescription safety glasses (the only thing I ordered from them) and it turns out they forgot to send that order in. Upon arriving at the eye doctor, I was greeted by the manager. She had asked who I was going to order my glasses and contacts from which I then replied I wasn’t sure yet, I plan on shopping around. At that point she told me that if I planned to order from 1-800-contacts that they would price match 100%, which further proves that Heartland Vision price gouges. So in summary, I don’t feel like they’re on top of things, I’ve had to jump through a lot of hoops to receive the things that I’ve paid for, and I feel that their prices are way too high.

Both the ladies working the front area were great!! They were a lot if help and made the atmosphere comfortable. Becky helped me out with the check in and payment processes. She explained things before she did them and it helped put me at ease. Would recommend!!!

Exam went very well. The rest was a complete nightmare, misinformation after misinformation. Spent a total of three hrs trying to get glasses. Then after dealing with them over a couple week period was told I could take my prescription somewhere else because their product line has been cut. Very unhappy with the professionalism HEARTLAND VISION in Kokomo has displayed. What leadership? That is exactly the problem, its not even close to being present. Awesome job at apologizing but not interested in correcting the problem.

I had an appointment scheduled online, it was my first time there very quick and easy. They answered all the questions I had. Lots of different glasses to choose from and they got my prescription right ! Very kind people In there and I would recommend them for your glasses needs. Thank you !
