Upon arrival into office lobby I noticed this office was way over booked. Took my 68 yr old mom to her 10am appointment, we got there by 9:45am. She just had a major surgery less than 2 weeks ago. We waited 1 hour before I walked to counter to enquire why we hadn't been called yet. The excuse was: they only have 3 doctors & that this occurs frequently during the week were they are behind on appointments. That it could be another hour before she gets her eye test & after that she'd have to sit at lobby again before seeing eye doctor. This is crazy how an office can overbooked all of these elderly patients & have them wait several hours before being seen by the actual eye doctor. Simple solution STOP overbooking patients. If low on doctors hire some or cancel some of those appointments for patients convenience. This is avoidable but all they seem to care about is numbers & not there actual patients time & needs. My mom wanted to cancel her appointment so we did. She was very furious when we left saying she always waits a few hours & that she was tired of this office's lack of care & time for elderly patients. She has been going here for a few years now if i had known this before I would have change them a long time ago. She also states they rarely answer the phone wehen she has called rhem in the past. I wish I had taken a photo of the filled lobby, must of been about 60 elderly patients waiting. I will be finding her another office who is more attentive & cares for time & its patients asap. MY MOM STATES THEY HAVE ALWAYS BEEN OVERBOOKED. My advice is for sons & moms of these elderly parents please once in awhile go with them to their appointments to make sure they are receiving the proper & timely visits. We will be finding her a new eye doctors office.

The staff was very courteous and professional. They all made me feel comfortable and confident in my care. Dr. Prado was obviously very knowledgeable and thorough his exam and answering my questions. Although they were very busy they did not rush me through the process. They made me feel like I was the only patient.

My latest interaction with Prado Vision has thrown me overboard. My mother had cataract surgery performed and has been having issues. I called Prado Vision to make an appointment, explaining the issues my mother is having (blurred foggy vison and headaches). They told me the soonest they would be able to schedule an appointment for her would be in January 2027. We are currently in July 2026! My previous interactions with them the worse would have to be scheduled appointments. No matter what time of day including the 1st appointment. You better be ready to wait from 3-4 hours! Why even bother scheduling appointments?
