Dr. Januskey was really great. I didn’t originally have vision insurance, so I love that during my first appointment she presented me with the testing she recommended, but also included the costs and level of importance, so that I could make an informed decision and not end up with a large surprise bill. Even without vision insurance, she was able to get the majority of the testing and cost of the visit to be covered by my regular health insurance. I’ve come across many providers who aren’t as knowledgeable on the cost of their services in conjunction with insurance or who aren’t aware of the availability of coverage for eye care through medical insurance. The optician that helped me pick out frames after I obtained vision insurance was also great. Since I’m newer to glasses, she pointed out the different areas on the frames that I needed to confirm were comfortable and a good fit. This was extremely helpful since I didn’t know what I was looking for. She also gave me more than one quote for the final cost based on the options my vision insurance provided, so that I could pick what made the most sense for my budget. Even when I needed to make last minute changes to appointment times, the receptionist was not only helpful but also very nice about everything. Overall, each interaction that I’ve had with this office has been great!
