My 80+ year-old grandmother recently visited this office after not seeing an optometrist in more than 20 years. Because she had no frame of reference for today’s pricing, she trusted the staff and assumed the prices she was quoted were normal. What happened instead felt like blatant price gouging. To give some perspective: - She was charged $525 for a pair of Jimmy Choo JC3054U frames. A quick search online shows these frames commonly selling for around $150–$200. - She was charged $578 for Tom Ford FT5812-B frames. These can routinely be found online for approximately $250–$300. After lenses and a “20% discount,” the total still came to nearly $1,500 for two pairs of glasses. My grandmother genuinely believed this was simply what glasses cost nowadays. She had no idea she was paying prices that were dramatically inflated compared to normal market rates. Her daughter-in-law only saw the receipt after the purchase had already been completed. I personally purchase glasses every few years, so when I found out what she paid, I immediately called the office — less than 24 hours later — hoping they would at least allow cancellation of the frames if the lenses had already been started. The manager refused, citing a strict no-refund policy and offering no reasonable accommodation whatsoever. Please, if you have elderly family members, help them shop around before making a purchase here. Get the prescription if you want, but be extremely cautious about buying frames and lenses through this office. The exact same prescription and comparable frames can easily be purchased online for hundreds less — often under $500 total for two pairs. In a community with many retirees and seniors living on fixed incomes, these pricing practices feel deeply unethical. My grandmother trusted this business, and instead she walked away paying far more than she should have simply because she didn’t know any better.

Excellent appointment! Staff was very nice, helpful and easy to deal with. The doctor was very nice and did a great job with my kids 11,9,7. They were even able to find a way to schedule the whole family the same afternoon for us even though we were all new patients. When I called a couple days later for more info about glasses she wrote down what I needed and sent me an email later that day so I had it all in writing.
These people are the sweetest! I had some difficulty scheduling an appointment because of insurance problems, and Courtney was beyond kind and called to solve the problem for me. They are very welcoming and go out of their way to care for their patients. Amazing care!! Thank you so much:)
I had a great eye visit at Precision Eyecare. The staff is some of the most professional and caring group of individuals I have had the pleasure of being around. The doctor was knowledgeable and engaging. He explained everything as we went through the appointment. Great place. I would highly recommend this office for your eye care.
This was my first visit to Precision Eye care. In spite of being booked well into the future, they helped me get in through a cancellation as my eyesight was getting so bad I was having difficulty driving. They were very thorough in their examination and got me connected to an eye surgeon immediately. The staff were all friendly and kind and the doc was laid back and relaxed. I don't usually give five star reviews but I was very happy with the service I received today. They even found a little screw to fix my glasses that had been loose.
