7/28/26. Today went for my CDL physical renewal exam and had failed the vision requirement. Left the Examiner in frustration & disbelief and was told I needed a signed document from my eye doctor in order to pass. So my life partner managed an appointment with Dr. Sloat almost instantly. Him & his young girls got me checked in, examined, explained everything thoroughly, paid in 30 minutes. Truly amazing!! Drove back to the CDL Examiner gave them his papers and was quickly given my new CDL physical card. When I finally got home and checked everything out, Dr. Sloat had true exact numbers for everything that was needed, the Examiner numbers weren’t even close? So, I gratefully commend Dr. Sloat and his staff for a speedy, thorough, and helpful experience today! I’d recommend them to everyone!!

Excellent eye doctor for checkups, purchases, and special appointments. Very clean design and maintenance both inside and outside. Kind staff and a very skilled and professional doctor. You truly feel like they care about the health of your eye and not just making a sale. Solid glasses array to choose from as well.
I went to Progressive Eyecare to find out about the process of getting a pair of glasses worn all the time instead of readers, now that I have an eye doctor’s script and an eye freckle to protect. From driving by for years, I sensed that this place would have better quality and more “hip” choices. I was correct. The person who greeted me at the entrance took my initial information professionally with a friendly manner. The obstetrician, Anna, was clear, professional, knowledgeable, thorough, and friendly. With Anna’s fun help, I narrowed my choices to two frames. However, I had to decide whether or not to have polarization in the everyday glasses or get two pairs of glasses. I realized I need to consult family, friends, and my eye doctor. I postponed my purchase. Anna had to be disappointed; however, she handled it well. A clean, hip, knowledgeable, organized, pleasant, professional eye glass store it is.
Dr. Sloath is very professional. He has old school bed side manner...takes the time to answer all your questions. He found issues with my eyes referred me to specialist then called back to see how i was. His team are efficient kind and helpful. Highly recommended for all your eye care needs
