Exam did not provide prescription when leaving office. Call to ? indicated that there was a fee of $70! Why have an exam if I can't get prescription. That makes no logical sense. I was not advised of this at exam Never had to pay elsewhere. Have sent complaint to Aetna. They indicated that you should provide prescription. They intend to call you. They advised that I am due a prescription without a fee. Was that wasted time in your office? Please have practice manager call me about this. Let's please resolve so I don't need to escalate to NC authorities. FYI, I also also asked tech to evaluate prescription for a second pair of distance glasses that I brought with me. She would not do it. Also wanted my current readers evaluated. Couldn't get that done either. Service by tech was poor. Doc was good but he didn't give me name of condition I was experiencing. Advised that he was going to refer me to specialist. Still think he should have given me name of condition. I'm not a happy customer. Would like a call from the practice manager/administrator.

Raleigh Eye Center is the best. My mom is a patient there. When my mom had surgery we met this young lady name Paula, who is the surgical coordinator. She literally welcomed us with open arms. While scheduling my mom's surgery, we got to talking about the surgery and other things. We also had plenty of laughs and giggles. She was beyond polite, very knowledgeable about her job, and she also found a spot to move my mama's surgery to a earlier date. By the time we left that appointment we felt like family. On the outside of the office my mom constantly talks about her. On mama's last visit, she would not leave that office until she saw Paula. This morning as she was getting dressed, she asked me could make sure that she sees her before she leaves. I know Raleigh Eye Center is blessed to have her on their staff.
I had such an amazing experience at this location! Dr. Boycott was very nice and kind. Michelle was amazing and helped me thru wearing contacts and i appreciate her so much!! Taliyah was also very nice and kind!! Very amazing workers had to give them all a shoutout!
I’ve been a patient of The Raleigh Eye Center for 40+ years. I’ve always had a great experience here. Dr. Boliek is my primary doctor now but have needed the pediatric physicians for my daughter. All of the doctors, nurses, technicians and administrative staff have been wonderful. I have recommended this practice to friends as I feel the experience and professionalism at The Raleigh Eye Center is the best!
Raleigh Eye center has really left a bad taste in my mouth. My grandfather was referred her for eye surgery . Dr Vinn seemed really caring and compassionate at the consultation and that very quickly changed after arriving for surgery at 10 am and appointment was at 10:20. We sat in the waiting area for about 10 mins then they registered us in and took us to the back to sit there until 2:30 before he had surgery. I understand things happen but this was ridiculous. My grandfather was very upset and cold waiting there for hours while his surgeries scheduled for 10:30. No communication from her or staff as to why it took so long. Dr Vinn finally walks in the room did not even acknowledge that I was even in the room and said a few words to grand father and walked out. After surgery she did not even come out to speak to me. Now my grandfather is 84 yrs old and I think the respectful thing to do was to let the family know what happen in surgery. I’m sure she spoke with the other patients and there family. Never even apologized for been so late. I’m just over her and I will not be bringing him back to see her after this last eye has been done. She has no compassion, or empathy for her patients. We know doctors time is busy and precious and so is ours as patients. We deserve dignity and respect too. And she could have cared less. Now we are her early on time for the follow up and same crap. Been her for almost an hour and no doctor. Beware of Dr Vinn and her busy schedule. You will wait forever!!!
