The staff at Refocus Eye were great. I recently took my 86 year old mother, who is in a wheelchair, to Refocus Eye in North Wales, PA. She had been to the practice over several years in the past when the practice had a different name. Because of other health issues my mother hadn’t had eye care in 3 years. As usual, Dr Barouh was wonderful working with my mother who needed my sister and I to help her into the exam chair, extra time to focus on the eye chart and help from her family holding her head against the bar and sitting up straight so she could get all the necessary tests. The technician, Jasmine, was a new hire and very young, but was also very good working with my mom. The front desk staff were all good to deal with as well. The only issue was getting an appointment. Refocus Eye has an offsite telephone scheduling service and there was a wait to get an operator and there wasn’t a way to call directly to the practice. As with most specialty practices there was also a few week wait to get an appointment. However, overall, I would recommend Refocus Eye. The care was excellent and Dr Barouh is very good at explaining things to both my mom and my sister and me.

I always have a GOOD Experience at Refocus Eye Health (formerly Opthalmologist Physicians and Surgeons), from the time I check in to the time I check out, all the staff I encounter are the Best! The staff are very efficient, kind, patient, and show extra compassion to the elderly clientele, which I was taught to always respect my elders as a Southern Gal. I highly recommend the North Wales location. Dr. Patricia Martinez my doctor is a very sweet doctor and she answers any questions that ya may have. No question is dumb. Lol. 😀
I visited Dr. Lindsey Barouh at this clinic for the first time today at the recommendation of my primary care physician, after my usual eye clinic failed to resolve an eye irritation I had been having for three weeks. Dr. Barouh found and removed a small object at the outer edge of my eye that others had missed, and confirmed that I don't have any corneal scratches from it. She also recommended an eye cleaner and mask to resolve longer-term dry eye issues. I am so grateful to have found a capable and experienced opthamologist! Refocus is now my eye clinic of choice.
Your front desk employees could and should be a little bit more cordial. A warm welcoming smile does wonders for any business…….and it can brighten up a patient’s day. The young woman (text) was very nice.. friendly and caring.
Doctor and Jasmine were great. Front desk barely greeted me just said maybe hi and I can help you over here. Then she made a concerned face when she looked up my name and said “we don’t usually have new patients at 2:50” and another person at the desk started talking asking who was new right in front of me. I was offended confused and assumed there was something wrong with my visit so it increased my anxiety. So I said am I still able to be seen? And the person checking me in says in a surprised voice “oh no you’ll be able to be seen” so in my head I was like then why all the discussion in front of me? Just not welcoming. The same person was talking loud and tense on the phone when I came out to check out. Not trying to get anyone in trouble but I had a crazy day trying to get my same day appointment and this didn’t help.
