Professional and cheerful staff. Dr. David Carlin performed a successful surgery on my mom. Great "bedside" manner. The establishment is huge. Couch and sofa seating in the waiting rooms. Complimentary snacks and water offered. Eyeglass selections are pretty sweet. Would recommend to everyone.
From the moment I arrived, I received prompt, polite, and welcoming service from the reception staff. The back-office, technical, and nursing teams were excellent, demonstrating utmost professionalism and knowledge. Dr. Carlin conducted my eye examination promptly and thoroughly. He reviewed all the diagnostic findings with me step by step and in detail, without making me feel rushed. His careful explanation greatly reassured me about my condition. The scheduling staff were also very attentive and helpful on my way out. Overall, this was an excellent experience from beginning to end.
I was amazed of how beautiful this office is. It’s spacious, well decorated, very clean and organized. Sweet and professional staff from check in thru checkout. I recommend it!!
I have never had an appointment at Carlin Vision that did not run very late, usually 30-40 minutes, one time more than an hour. This last appointment was no exception with a wait time of close to 45 minutes. It is very frustrating. All the staff and techs I dealt with were friendly and very efficient. They took the time to answer all my questions. The doctor (Huynh), whom I have never met, was a different story. She blew into the exam room with a few sentences of greeting and went right to work examining my eyes, spouting off measurements to her assistant. When I started to ask questions about cataracts, she answered some but there was obvious impatience. As I questioned further, I was told there was “a brochure.” I only needed a couple more minutes of her time, but it was clear that she was not going to give them to me. All in all, it was a long day because then I had to wait for a turn at the optics shop. Lisa helped me there and she was great. The stress and treatments of the eye exam brought about the expected migraine.
I’ve been going to Carlin Vision for a while now, and just had my doctor’s appointment yesterday as of writing this. I absolutely love Carlin Vision and love Dr. Thornhill who I have seen countless times in my time at this doctor. I have never had a negative experience here and every single eye doctor or assistant has always made me feel the most comfortable ever. ❤️❤️
