Dr. Albernaz was very kind and explained everything really well to me and my son. The front desk staff were friendly and we felt cared for throughout the visit. Highly recommend! Bonus, the glasses store downstairs helped clean and fit my sons glasses. She took her time to get them perfect for him. I appreciated the service all around and my teenage son even mentioned the service on the drive home after the appointment.

Beginning with the initial greeting at reception there’s a positive energy in every interaction with the staff at Richens Eye Center. Including those not directly connected to my visit. When I then met Dr. Richens I recognized the source of the culture of service with a smile. Dr Richens is open, friendly, and professional. She and her assistants are conscientious and thorough. Then Dr Richens performed her in depth examination while answering my questions and explaining as she went along. It was by far the most complete, thorough eye examination I’ve ever had. It gave me complete confidence in her assessment and recommendations. She also saw a condition that needed treatment that my provider up north had missed entirely. I came away with the information I need to make an informed decision about cataract surgery and the confidence to trust Dr. Richens with the procedure. Highly recommended ophthalmologist and staff!
Excellent! Every member of the staff at Richens Eye Center was friendly, knowledgeable and informative. I went in for a consultation regarding dry eyes and potential cataract surgery and they were extremely helpful and answered all my questions which gave me tremendous confidence in their skills, top notch equipment and procedures and patient care. I've gone to two other eye centers in the St. George area in the past and Richens is my top choice for my eye health.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Dr. Lister is a rare find! I can honestly say that Dr. Lister at Richens Eye Center is the absolute best eye doctor I have ever been to. From the moment I walked in, I felt completely taken care of. The level of patient care here is just amazing. Dr. Lister is incredibly professional and knowledgeable, but what I appreciate most is how much he truly listens to me. It’s so rare these days to find a doctor who doesn't rush you out the door. He took the time to actually sit down, listen to my concerns, and make sure I was comfortable with everything. You can tell he genuinely cares about the people who walk through his door. If you’re looking for someone you can trust with your vision, go see Dr. Lister. You won’t be disappointed.
Deciding on the type of cataract surgery is something to really take into serious consideration. Although Medicare does not pay for this, I chose to opt for the light-adjusted lens since I did not want to continue wearing glasses every time I read a book or a label. Medicare will pay for surgery but will not improve near vision which is what I hoped to achieve. I am thrilled with giving up my reading glasses as I went from 20/50 to 20/20! Thank you for restoring my vision.
