From the moment I walked in, the staff at the front desk and the team administering the initial eye exam were warm, kind, responsive, and incredibly efficient. Even while balancing patients approaching the desk and those waiting to be seen, everyone remained professional, welcoming, and attentive. It was clear that this office operates as an amazing team of professionals who genuinely care about the patient experience. What stood out most was my interaction with Dr. Gary Rocha. He immediately put me at ease and made the exam feel comfortable and conversational. He took the time to speak with me about my career while carefully walking through the exam. During the review of my scans, he noticed an image that he wanted to double-check, simply to be safe. Rather than dismissing it, he said he would share it with a colleague and get back to me. What happened next truly demonstrated the level of care and integrity in this practice. About 20 minutes after my exam ended while I was looking at glasses, Dr. Rocha personally walked back into the office after consulting with another doctor and let me know that, although it was likely nothing serious, he would like me to have it evaluated further just to be safe. He immediately involved his staff to provide me with all of the necessary information. Before I even completed my purchase at the counter, a staff member came over with an envelope containing the referral details and confirmed the location was convenient based on where I lived. Dr. Rocha also reassured me that the images had already been shared ahead of time. That level of attentiveness, follow-through, compassion, and professionalism is rare today. Rocha Family Eyecare provides not only excellent eye care, but truly patient-centered care. I highly recommend Dr. Gary Rocha and his outstanding team.
