I had an appointment today 07/14/26. It was great from checking in until after my visit with my doctor. They would all get five stars for sure! However, at checkout, to make my six months follow up, I felt rushed and put off. Found the young lady to off-putting and dismissive. There was nobody in line behind me, I truly don't think she likes her job.

First time going to an eye doctor in a very long time. I had Heather at first, doing most of the testing, then saw Dr. Byron. Both were very professional and easy to talk to. They have great personalities and gave a family feel to the appointment. I felt comfortable asking lots of questions and they explained everything in detail but easy to understand. Highly recommended.
Do not go here for eye exams I been noticed the company has too many students training. And a lot of times the students over put too many drops in your eyes purposely, so they can put more drops in your eyes. Second, go get a second opinion the doctor lie to my mom saying their is nothing wrong with her eyes. But when we got a second opinion truth came out of it I told my mom to never go back to Seidenberg Protzko eye Associates again because they lied and never told the truth. Plus, some of the techinans are unprofessional and rude, and some are the students who are training. Now me and my mom go somewhere else to go get her eyes exams that are mature, professional, and not too many students as a testing ground lab. Finally, my advice go get a second opinion if you do not like the first advice go somewhere else.
I'd give zero stars if I could and I am not the type to complain or leave bad reviews, ever!! I completed all the new patient paperwork electronically beforehand and I still arrived 20 minutes early as they demanded for a new patient. Unfortunately, after an hour of waiting, the waiting room was still packed and I had not been called back. I had to leave before I could be seen because no one could tell me how much longer the wait would be - just that there were other patients ahead of me. I couldn't even estimate when I would have gotten out of there but didn't have the full day to devote to an eye exam. Extremely frustrating that I wasted so much time not only onsite this day, but the weeks waiting for the appointment date just to reschedule an eye exam elsewhere on the way home. They had no problem wasting over an hour of my time (including the extra 20 minutes early I arrived as a new patient because they messaged me several times in the days leading up to the appointment to tell me I needed to). Any communication about why there was such a wait or when I could expect to be seen would have made a huge difference in the experience. Extremely unprofessional and so disappointed!
I am disappointed to be writing this because Dr. Reed is a wonderful, caring physician. However, the conduct of the eyeglass technician today was unprofessional. I arrived between 2:40 and 2:45 PM, and while I understand the office closes at 3:00 PM, that is no excuse for rudeness. I was treated as an annoyance rather than a patient—no greeting, just a rude demand to wait in the reception area without any inquiry into my needs. It is a shame that such poor service has cost them a regular customer, but I will not be returning.
