Celina at the front desk is so cheerful and fun to talk to. Somehow ordering my contacts turned into my favorite conversation today. Very professional, answered all my questions, and made me laugh!
My old eye doctor retired so I tried them since they were so close I could walk if I wanted. This is the best eye appointment I have had in my life. If you are on the fence or worried about location or whatever else might be keeping you just make an appointment and come. Dr. Diaz did my exam and Celina helped me find glasses and I was helped by others but I don’t remember their names(sorry ladies). And because I want you to be happy please understand Good doctors take their time with patients, which means it’s inevitable that some times they will run late so keep that in mind when scheduling and don’t try to squeeze something in that’s going to be too tight for you. Also if this applies to anyone else I have always had to have my eyes dilated when trying to figure out a prescription because they try to overcompensate. I told him and he knew what to do so I didn’t have to be dilated (huge when you are going home to deal with toddlers in the sunshine).
What wonderful people. In general, I hate all things medical so it's refreshing to be met with a smile and genuine concern. Appointments are easy to make and when I've had to reschedule it hasn't been a problem. Overall, I highly recommend them and glad they are in this area.
They have a problem admitting they got the prescription wrong. Telling someone who had glasses to “try them for 3 days” when you cant see out of your new lenses is rediculous . They also Try to nickle and dime you for out of pocket expenses, and i was told “oh wow you werent lying?!” When i showed i could get coverage for something they said insurance wouldnt cover. They give “nice mean girl” vibes. and try to blameshift the client instead of just admitting they got things wrong. Its giving very classist judgmental vibes. I truly wish i would have chosen a differnet optomitrist office. You never know someone’s circumstances, so theres no reason to act judgmental catty and condescending. That woman with medicaid? She could have left a domestic violence situation and is starting over from scratch. She could have been a successful professional who lost everything beating cancer and is rebuilding. Shes somebodys daughter, mother, sister, aunt, friend….Please learn to be kind.
