Had an appointment for a consultation and had a very pleasant visit. I didn’t have to wait long to get checked in and the front desk was very nice to me. The wait to get seen in the back was not very long either. The clinical side were friendly and efficient. The doctor was both nice and answered all of my questions. I had a great experience with the entire team

Dr. Hudson is an amazing ophthalmologist. He’s thorough, explains everything and doesn’t sugar coat things. If you ask questions he will answer them honestly. If you’re looking for or need a very good ophthalmologist, I recommend Dr. Hudson. He’s going to lay it all out on the table so you can make an informed decision. And let’s not forget the staff, they were the most professional staff I have encountered so far. My time in the back was a bit long, but that was because the eye exams were very extensive. They didn’t miss anything, for that I am grateful. My thanks to all of you for answering all of my questions and for making me feel so at ease.
I was most impressed with the cordiality and professionalism of everyone. Shelia at the front desk moves mountains. The nurse (Dee) and the doctor were above reproach. I received excellent care. What I remember most is all of their professionalism. Everyone is part of a team and it shows.
I had an appointment here because I had a shard of metal lodged in my eye. I had an 8:30am appointment. I arrived early but wasn't called back until after 9:00 and the doctor didn't make it into the room until nearly 11:00. How you can be hours behind first thing in the morning is absolutely beyond me. It shows a complete lack of respect for the patients. When the doctor finally arrived he started getting angry at me because I couldn't control my eye twitching while it had a shard of metal embedded in it, he's shining a bright light into it, and attempting to shove a metal rod at my eye. He then explained that he couldn't remove the object because the method he uses could impale my eye if it moves at all during the procedure. Meanwhile, the doctor I went to after was able to calmly coach me through keeping my eye still and get the object removed in only a couple of minutes. He also used a device(which was literally just a special pair of tweezers) which didn't risk severe injury if I couldn't hold perfectly still. Oh, and when I still had to pay for this absolute farce of an appointment, they decided to try to collect their money by calling me with the world's most useless AI chatbot which could barely understand anything I said and even after several attempts could not correctly read my credit card number back to me. This office is an actual joke
I had LASIK on 7/1/25 and have been returning for follow-up visits almost every two months since then because my vision has never improved to the level I was promised. The complaint I have today is the exact same complaint I had immediately after LASIK. Despite numerous follow-up appointments over the past year, the issue has never been resolved. I have repeatedly been told that dry eyes are the reason for my vision problems and have been prescribed multiple expensive eye drops. Unfortunately, I have noticed little to no difference in my vision whether I use the drops or not. My vision continues to worsen, and the original problem that brought me back for follow-up visits has remained unchanged since the procedure. At my most recent visit, I was surprised to learn that I needed glasses because my vision continues to decline. After paying approximately $5,000 for LASIK, this was extremely disappointing to hear. To make matters worse, I was charged through my medical insurance and required to pay a copay because I was told I needed to see a medical doctor. Previously, my follow-up care related to my LASIK concerns had been covered under the fees I already paid. When I questioned why I was suddenly being billed differently, the office manager, Sharon, informed me that I no longer qualified to be seen under my LASIK fees because more than six months had passed since the procedure. I found her response rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. Rather than addressing my concerns about my declining vision and the fact that my original complaint has never changed since LASIK, I felt I was treated as an inconvenience. My biggest concern is that I paid for a procedure intended to improve my vision, yet the same unresolved issue has persisted since day one, and my vision continues to get worse. I chose LASIK to reduce my dependence on glasses, not to end up needing them while continuing to experience worsening vision and additional medical expenses. I wish I chose the original LASIK provider my doctor had recommended instead of this place. It has gone down hill and it is clear they have issues with keeping staff lately.
