Specialty Eye Mds

It's Friday and nobody is answering the phones at any of of three offices. If you're closed then change your recording. I originally had a great first appointment with Dr. E. Hoi and I had a appointment they called and said she's not in Plainfield but she told me in person she does have some appointments in the Plainfield office. I'm just trying to return the call to reschedule with her in any of the offices but with nobody answering I guess I'm back to searching for a new Eye Dr. It's almost like they don't want customers!

This is a terrible Eye doctor place. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I had an appointment on 3/18. It’s 4/15. The doctor only gave me 1 left trail even though the service should include two. They told me my trials would probably be ready within a month. Which is very excessive. I called several times to check on them. At one point they wouldn’t answer my call because they probably know my number by now. I called from a different number and they answered the phone. When they answer I’m told “come in a couple of days and they will be ready. I knew they told me this just to appease me and stop me from calling. I wait until appointment day and they call me when I’m ALREADY ON MY WAY FROM WEST NEW YORK TO NEWARK that they do not have my contacts. They will not finalize my prescription without me trying them on… I will update you if they keep this appointment or tell me the same thing else. I will be reporting to BBB and asking for a refund.

This office is committing fraud with my Medicare account. They have billed Medicare for services that were never rendered. They continue to bill my account even after I advised the office. I tried to see the billing manager and got no response. I am very disappointed with this office as it is so close to my home. I really thought I had found a good place after my previous doctor passed away. Now, I must search for a new eye doctor. I haven't had the checking on my condition and hope that no further deterioration has taken place since I had to stop coming to this office.

First impressions are lasting impressions, especially when it deals with "customer service." This was a FAILURE unfortunately. I made an appointment for 2/28 via phone a week prior. Provided my insurance and was told they would confirm my co-pay once they spoke to the insurance company. I received a voice message on 2/24 confirming the appointment. I called to confirm and left messages to get the co -pay info. No return call. 2/28 I took off a half day for this appointment. I arrived early and was told that my insurance does not have vision coverage. I asked her why didn't she call me to tell me this versus having me take off work. She just looked at me. I was not happy at all. This is poor customer service and I left with a very poor impression of your business. We MUST do better. This was an avoidable situation. This is totally unacceptable .

Great place to go treat towards your eyes, awesome personal to take care of you also.
