Specialty Retina Center – Deerfield Beach

The doctors here are fine. No real issues with them. However the office seems to be run very ineffectively. 2 times in a row, they have rescheduled my appointment without even asking me. Just moved it to another day. No phone call to see if the time works etc. thankfully I called both times to make sure before I made the drive. I was told both times they had to move it because a doctor wasnt available. So disrespectful of my time. The last time I asked to have the office manager called me ( I am told her name is Diana) did she call me ? Nope! I probably would have given them another chance if she would have called and apologized. I hope the owners/investors of this practice read this and take some action so others are not impacted.

The providers in this specialist office are excellent, knowledgeable, attentive, and truly focused on patient care. They take the time to listen and make you feel comfortable and informed. Unfortunately, my experience with the staff handling surgical requests has been very different. Their communication often comes across as rude and dismissive, and they make the process unnecessarily difficult for patients. Navigating surgical approvals is already stressful, and the lack of support only adds to that frustration. I hope the office addresses this, because it doesn’t reflect the high level of care the providers deliver.

Disgusting organization, my father in his 70s, was referred to this clinic. When he called to make an appointment, the lady on the phone asked a lot of questions and then proceeded to hang up on a 74 year old man. Disgusting organization. Terrible manners, horrible customer service. They make me sick.

Dr. Gupta was exceptional. His assistants were also really nice. It is a very busy office, however, he get the job done. Surgery was smooth and quick.

This is a great place. The staff is friendly, helpful and attentive. Dr. Bawcombe has been my doctor for almost 10 years. I highly recommend them.
