I had an outstanding experience at this eye care office from start to finish. The entire staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional, making me feel comfortable the moment I walked in. The office itself was spotless, well-organized, and had a warm, cozy atmosphere that made the visit pleasant and relaxing. I was especially impressed by how efficiently everything was handled. The appointment started on time, the process was smooth, and the team worked together seamlessly while still taking the time to answer all of my questions. I can't thank Dr. Mohamed Guenena enough for the outstanding care I received during my LASIK and Advance Cataract Surgery with Intra Ocular Lens implant (IOLs), considered cutting-edge surgery. From my very first appointment, they were incredibly friendly and attentive and took the time to answer all of my questions, which made me feel comfortable and confident every step of the way. The surgery was performed with exceptional skill and professionalism, and the results have truly exceeded my expectations. It's clear that Dr. Guenena is highly competent and genuinely cares about their patients' well-being. I'm so grateful for the excellent care I received and would wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Guenena to anyone looking for an experienced, compassionate, and talented eye surgeon. Had an upper Blepharoplasty performed my Dr Dane Slentz on April 10 2026. It was the best decision I have ever made. I was very reluctant to have this done but Dr Slentz and his assistant made me feel confident this surgery was needed. My eyes are like night and day, they were extremely hooded and now they are beautiful and I receive raving compliments. Everyone wants to know who my surgeon is. Dr Slentz and his assistant receive A+++, he worked a miracle for me, he is extremely talented. Thank you

Very happy with the care I receive at Spindel Eye Associates. The techs are all knowledgeable and skilled with the equipment, the front desk staff are always pleasant and quick. I especially like that the doctors are not just optometrists, but board certified ophthalmologists that do so much more than eye exams.

Had an eye problem. I was seen same day. Dr Leo was excellent. She is professional knowledgeable and very likable medical professional. She fixed me right up and I was out the door and back to my day. I am greatful for a young woman like her who spent all that time in school just to be able to help a guy like me. I hope she sees this.

I have been a patient of Dr. Wood at Spindel Eye Associates for over 20 years. Throughout that time, I have always been exceptionally well cared for by Dr. Wood and her team of practitioners. I give them an A+. Appointments with Dr. Wood are never rushed—there’s always a good laugh, genuine care, and a sense of familiarity that comes from a long-standing relationship. She has come to know my household, and over the years I’ve gotten to know a bit about hers as well. It has always felt comfortable and personal behind that exam room door. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same for the office supervisors. In all my years with the practice, I missed one appointment. I received a letter stating that I owed for the missed visit, which I fully understood and did not dispute. I stopped by to pay, only to be told by the office supervisor, “I appreciate you stopping by, but this is mostly a warning. We’re not going to take money from you today.” This was confusing and frustrating, as the letter clearly stated that if I missed another appointment I would be dropped from the practice. I understand that missed appointments cost practices money—but don’t send a bill and then refuse to accept payment. More recently, I had an appointment scheduled and we had new insurance. While I didn’t have the physical card with me, I did have all the information at home and offered to provide it the same day. Despite my 20+ year history with the practice, always paying at time of service, and referring my spouse and two coworkers, I was told I would not be seen without full payment upfront. There was no flexibility, no acknowledgment of my history as a patient—just rigid policy enforcement that felt unnecessarily dismissive. It makes you feel less like a valued patient and more like a problem. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Wood—she is one of the best healthcare practitioners I have ever worked with. However, the office administration lacks flexibility and genuine customer service skills. While I missed my appointment today, I did leave with my medical records. It pains me to say that I will no longer do business with Spindel Eye Associates—not because of the quality of care, but because of the lack of true customer service and the inability to recognize when a rule could reasonably be bent.
