Scheduled an eye exam for my Autistic daughter 2 separate times both times when we arrived they said they can’t see her. We were told to reschedule and when we did the 2nd time they said sorry the doctor is booked come back in 2 weeks. This place is a joke has horrible customer and communication between staff. It’s already hard enough to get my daughter out of the house to appointments. I am extremely disappointed and dissatisfied. All they could offer is another appointment in 2 weeks. I would never bring someone you care about to this location to deal with this disrespect and unprofessionalism. The manager Lori Alessandro offered 0 help and just said I’m sorry like that solves anything. I would give 0 stars if I could! Do Not bring your family or anyone you love here!!!

I’ve been a customer with this location since it was called My Eyelab, and unfortunately my recent experience reminded me why I will no longer be returning. I came in today with a pair of glasses that needed a repair. The employee I dealt with, Lori, took one look at them and immediately dismissed me, saying they were bent and could not be fixed. From my perspective, it looked like a difficult repair, but not impossible. Instead of even attempting to help or offering any real solutions, she simply kept telling me I would need to buy new frames. I even suggested removing the screw so I could try adjusting the arm of the glasses myself, but again she immediately shut it down and said she wouldn’t be able to put the screw back in. The entire interaction felt rude, dismissive, and unhelpful. This also wasn’t my first unpleasant experience with Lori, which made it even more disappointing. After leaving frustrated, I went across the street to LensCrafters. The employee there, V, handled the situation completely differently. She explained that it was a difficult repair and that there was a possibility the glasses could break, but she was still willing to try. Not only did she actually make an effort, but she successfully repaired my glasses without damaging them. The difference in customer service between these two locations was night and day. One person immediately dismissed me and offered no help, while the other treated me with kindness, professionalism, and a willingness to assist. If you’re looking for customer service from people who actually care and are willing to help, I’d honestly recommend going to LensCrafters across the street instead.
Very pleasurable experience! Needed a new pair of glasses to make a change, wich can be quite the task especially after a couple of years, and the staff was absolutely amazing. Welcomed us with a smile, guided us through the process and gladly answered all of our questions. Bella, who took care of my exam was one of a kind. Super nice and patient, wich is hard to find nowadays in customer service.Got my glasses the same day as well, so I definitely recommend this place! Absolutely worth it :)
As a new patient, I was extremely disappointed with the level of care I received at Stanton Optical. During my initial appointment, I was taken back by a technician who seemed primarily focused on asking what brand of contact lenses I currently wore and whether they were monthly or biweekly lenses because, as she explained, that was information she needed to relay to the doctor. The exam itself seemed routine, and after a short time, the technician returned and told me my prescription had changed only slightly. She placed trial contact lenses in my eyes, and I was then directed to the checkout counter. What concerned me most was that I never saw or spoke with a doctor. Despite this, I was given a prescription and purchased a year’s supply of contact lenses based solely on the trial pair I had just tried on in the office. I was hesitant but assumed I had received appropriate care. After my contacts arrived, I quickly realized they were not working for me. My vision was poor, and I did not feel safe driving while wearing them. When I contacted the office, I was told I needed a follow-up appointment with the doctor. At that point, I questioned whether there had actually been a doctor involved in my original visit because I had never met or spoken with one. I was then informed that my exam had been conducted via telehealth, despite the fact that I never saw, spoke with, or had the opportunity to discuss my vision concerns with any doctor. I requested to return the contacts but was told I could not. I therefore scheduled the follow-up appointment. After waiting approximately 20–25 minutes, another technician approached me and asked what the issue was. After explaining my concerns, she immediately suggested that I had probably mixed up the contacts and placed them in the wrong eyes. Rather than investigating my concerns or facilitating a discussion with the doctor, the blame was placed on me without any meaningful evaluation. At that point, I was frustrated and disgusted by the lack of professionalism and patient care and chose to leave. I am now left with a year’s supply of contact lenses that do not work for me, a prescription from a doctor I never saw or spoke with, and many unanswered questions. As someone who works in the medical field, I find this level of patient care unacceptable. Patients deserve to have their concerns heard, evaluated, and addressed by a licensed provider—not dismissed by assumptions. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Stanton Optical, and I will not be returning.
I had such a great experience at my eye appointment! The entire process was smooth, Lana was professional, and incredibly efficient. I was able to complete my eye exam and receive my glasses the very same day, which was amazing. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and made me feel comfortable from start to finish. The staff was thorough, patient, and took the time to explain everything clearly. I truly appreciate the quick service without feeling rushed. Highly recommend to anyone looking for quality care and fast results!
