I had an outstanding experience at Stanton Optical thanks to the incredible customer service from Katey, Brandi, and Phil. Even though it was Katey’s day off, she still took the time to help, which really showed how dedicated she is to her patients and customers. Brandi was absolutely amazing—friendly, knowledgeable, and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. Phil was also fantastic, taking the time to answer questions and ensuring everything was handled professionally. The level of clinical care and customer service from this team exceeded my expectations. It’s clear they genuinely care about their patients, and I highly recommend Stanton Optical because of their exceptional staff.

It was my first time purchase glasses with Stanton optical last year. After 12 months and two weeks later, one of my glasses arm has broken off. I went to Stanton Optical in Orange Park and showed my receipt and the glasses. The manager name is Brandi. She did not welcome me with a smile when I entered the store. I am deaf and I had to type message to Brandi to explain what has happened. She did not feel like typing back to me but ended up talking. I reminded her that I am deaf and it would be helpful if she could type back to me. She gave me the look “doesn’t feel like it” to communicate with me. She sighed and typed back saying that I have to pay $70 to get a new one. I asked if they could waive since it was only two weeks expiration. She said no! I have never experienced broken glasses with any other companies even with online orders. They lasts much longer than this optical place. It hurts me to see unfriendly manager and not willing to communicate with me and not even try to waive and get me a replacement. Very unhappy staff in that office. I wouldn’t buy glasses with Stanton again.

I have been a customer of this location for years. Even before the name was changed to Stanton Optical. Each interaction was seamless up until Cecil became manager. His customer service is a nice nasty approach. I was recently given the “take it or leave it” method with no consideration of my loyalty to this location or the referrals I have made. Very unhappy and if no action is taken this will be my last attempt doing business with Stanton Optical. A quick deep dive into my issue is that I paid in full at time of sale for multiple glasses (4 total). Instead of same day which I’m use too I was told a full week. I was understanding and made arrangements to return in 7 days. The following week I called and spoke with customer service before being transferred to Cecil. I was told not one of my glasses have been delivered. After doing research only one has been shipped. No solid ETA on the other 3 pair. Since these were for my children I found this to be unacceptable. I simply asked Cecil what could be done. Could he provide a discount or anything to ease my mind that I have no idea when my glasses would come If I waited. At this point as a manager it was his time to be creative. He could have said I’ll throw in a courtesy discount, free cleanings, 1 time complimentary frame repair etc…. Instead he said (Take it or Leave it) wait or I can give you a full refund (no glasses). As admitted by himself and customer service it was over scheduled ETA and if my time and money is not valued here then I will find a place that does value their customers. Goodbye Stanton Optical!

I'm giving this a one-star rating because this used to be my son's eye doctor about a year and a half ago the tall African American optometrist lady that was there was extremely friendly extremely helpful and even helped me come out of pocket for my son's two pairs of glasses I call today actually just got off the phone with two representatives from this office the first representative was a young lady very friendly sweet we came into some computer glitches we hung up I had an appointment for Levi and myself I get a phone call from a gentleman who is very quick with this words was not friendly was not helpful and goes to tell me that they are not a network with Sunshine health that was never in network with Sunshine health and just offered a discounted rate for my son's eye exam and glasses which I know is crap because that's what insurance does is offer a discount correct the minute I said we had Medicaid he judged me even more I was incorrect and didn't realize that he had already said my name at the beginning of the conversation and I asked him if he knew my name and he said yes didn't I just say Christina in the beginning so that's what I mean he was very quick with his words already got on the phone with a chip on his shoulder not understanding by any means I'm tired of people like this it doesn't take much to be nice and if I find out you guys do take Sunshine health I'm going to be pissed because we loved this facility but now I'm going to find a different eye doctor thanks for nothing......

Love the 2 for specials. Whether it is single vision for night driving, or progressive lenses for all my vision needs. After cataract surgery, I wanted the best vision possible. Stanton Optical allowed me the option of improving my vision at a good price. Now I am seeing better than I have in many years!
