very disappointed in the service at this location. i received an email with a promotion for completely free eye exam. the email stated: “We mean it. One day only, you get a completely free eye exam with zero purchase necessary in honor of Healthy Vision Month. No fine print. No pressure. Just expert care and a clear picture of your vision health.” I booked my appointment and when i showed up conveniently the system was down and the manager julian let me know i shouldn’t wait around because it wouldn’t be up again before they close. i asked if we can reschedule and they can honor the free promo as the system issue was not my fault. the manager said he would see what he could do and to see him when i went back. i rescheduled for the same week and before making the 25 minute commute i decide to call and ask for julian and confirm id be able to get the free eye exam no pressure no purchase necessary. he asked if i was doing it for glasses or contacts i told him glasses and he said since i am purchasing glasses he should be able to help me with a discount. i never said i was buying anything and i wasn’t looking for a discount i was looking for the promotion to be honored. these people are very shady and i will not be returning to any of the locations

Huge shout out to Julian at Stanton Optical for the incredible customer service! While I was on holiday, I unexpectedly ran out of contact lenses and found myself in a bit of a bind. Julian went above and beyond to help me out, making what could have been a stressful situation so much easier. Thanks to his kindness and willingness to help, he saved my trip! Thank you again, Julian!

Today 6/18/2026 I went because my glasses it was little tilt I know that they can fix it with the heat ( they are plastic) the staff said let me see if I can fix it the glasses before I took them I could close and open she literal broken and they try to sell me a new pair because is been more than a year. I said you broken them they was still open and close and still work before it was on your hand.. she said that happen went you step on them or sleep with them they are cheap plastic. Very upset I was using them I was have to adjust in my ear but know I have 1 par because she broken them.

Tried to go to this optical shop for the first time and had an absolutely terrible experience. I had a 5:45 PM appointment I showed up on time but I finally asked if they were going to be able to service me soon at 6:15 PM and they told me there were three people ahead of me. I was pretty taken back that no one bothered to let me know they were that far behind schedule and she told me I would probably be waiting about another 45 minutes, which would put me at an hour and 15 minutes past my appointment time. I only chose this optical shop because they advertised the same day prescriptions with glasses and I was like OK well do I get my glasses today if I wait here today and she’s like oh no we don’t make new glasses for anyone after 6 PM usually For same-day service. OK, cool so the time that I would’ve had my prescription done based on your own words that an appointment only takes about 15 minutes and my appointment was supposed to be at 5:45. If they didn’t have the availability to help me today, it would’ve been great if they had let me know instead of having me and any of their other patients Wait for an appointment time, Drive all the way over there, And not be told that they are not gonna be able to service you until you’re finally like hi why have I not been helped?? I’m not mad they were busy. I’m mad that they just expected me to wait an extra hour without saying anything and to not get the promised advertisement of getting same-day glasses without any communication and just expected me to be cool with it.? Originally, I was like I guess I’ll just reschedule but honestly, I’ll just go to a company that can actually promise what they’re offering I guess because I don’t feel like that’s what happened today. Time is money, and I just wasted an hour and a half between driving and sitting in a lobby.

this location is awesome! came here after a negative experience at the W colonial location. i was seen and left with my prescription glasses done within an hour. they were extremely accommodating, professional, helpful, and kind. Gabby and Alex were amazing. they handled my personal frames that i brought with me with exceptional care. will definitely be returning to this location whenever i need anything else!
