I wanted to express my dissatisfaction with a recent experience at your Deerfield Beach location (3321 W Hillsboro Blvd, Deerfield Beach, FL 33442). My mother purchased a pair of eyeglasses from your store, and unfortunately, the frame was not to her liking—the size appeared wider than expected. When we returned to address this concern, we expected a straightforward resolution—either an exchange or a refund—especially considering your stated 30-day return and exchange policy for frames. However, we were met with resistance. The store manager, Mike, was not willing to assist in resolving the issue and instead appeared more focused on encouraging us to purchase an additional pair of glasses. This approach felt dismissive of our concern and did not reflect a customer-first attitude. The situation became uncomfortable and frustrating, particularly as we were simply seeking a fair resolution. As a result of this experience, my mother and I have decided to take our business elsewhere to purchase her eyeglasses. It is disappointing that what should have been a simple exchange turned into such a negative experience. I hope this matter is taken seriously, as customers should feel supported and treated fairly. At this time, I would not recommend this location based on our experience. I would appreciate a response regarding how this situation can be addressed.

Terrible experience and completely misleading. They advertised an exam and 2 pairs of glasses for $80, but when I got there, suddenly the price changed. They told me that because my daughter is under 13, she “must” use $400 polycarbonate lenses — which is NOT a law and was never mentioned before. Total bait-and-switch. Then they said that if I only wanted the exam, it would be $89.90. So even the basic advertised price wasn’t real. Another thing they don’t tell you: there is no doctor on-site. The exam is done through a video camera, which I would have liked to know beforehand. I wasted my time, felt misled, and will not be returning. Customers deserve honesty, not surprise fees and hidden conditions.

If I could leave a negative star I would went in the lady who did the machine testing was very nice and friendly, but then when I got into the room with the tech to do the eye exam, he was completely rude right from the start made a rude comment about how thick my glasses are then proceeded with the exam. I tried to give him my previous contact prescription, but he said he didn’t wanna see it. I kept telling him that the left eye was blurry. I could not read the letters and he still proceeded and ended the exam before I could even see clearly out of my left eye went out to the Lady to order the contacts and I asked her what the prescription was that he wrote and it was not even close to my previous prescription I told them that I have a stigmatism on my left eye and they did not put that on the contact prescription and I notified the lady and she went into the exam room with the tech for about 10 minutes and was talking to him came back out and they still did not add the astigmatism to the left eye for my prescription. I did not order contacts from them and I will not be going back. You can’t just take a astigmatism off of somebody’s prescription that does not go away very unprofessional very dissatisfied with my time spent there I will not be going back and I would not recommend this place to anybody.

Wow best describes my experience with Michael C. Professional, courteous and honest. What a great representation of Staton Optical. I will recommend to all my friends, family and business associates. However I never received the contacts in the mail. I made several attempts with the manager to resolve the issue and he said he wasn’t able to resend them. I was forced to dispute my credit card payment as well. I’ll be going back to Americas Best as a result.

3rd Review Picked up 2 pairs of progressives at Stanton Optical yesterday. The store was crowded, but they had three team members to assist all of their customers! They added a new live video chat with an optometrist in Miami, Kevin, to assure that the fit and prescriptions were correct on both of glasses Thank you Kevin, and this was a lovely addition from Stanton! Alex and Iliana both delivered superior customer service. They were friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. I have been getting my eye examines and glasses at Stanton Opitical for five years, and they have been consistently outstanding !!! 2nd Review Second time at My Eyelab and the co-owners, John & Anthony, were fabulous. I broke one pair, and they gave me an amazing deal on two premier progressive glasses & one pair of aviator sunglasses. This is the BEST eyeglass store in Boca ! 1st visit - Anthony, the Board Certified Optician, and Zachary, the Sales Manager, helped my friend and I select progressive sunglasses and glasses. They both gave us their full attention and expertise on a Saturday afternoon. My Eyelab makes their own frames allowing the store front to keep the costs low. Although I am a weekly Target shopper, my Eyelab trumps Target Optical because you can purchase two pairs of glasses here for the price of one there. The progressive sun glasses are unfortunately more expensive. Superb customer service and fabulous sale on progressive glasses. Highly recommend!
