Decided to give this place a chance when my daughter needed new glasses. The only good thing about this place is they have fair prices and good specials.
If you think you're going to "see" a real eye doctor, you're mistaken. An optician will do the various eye tests, then takes you in the exam room and does the eye chart, then the "which one looks clearer". You never seen an a tual doctor or talk to one. All your test results are sent to a "tele health" doctor.
My daughter picked out frames and when her glasses finally arrived, she couldn't see. They hurt her eyes, and the man who waited on us said it takes time to adjust and to give it "a few days". She tried really hard but all she got was eye strain. We had to go back and get the prescription adjusted. After another 2 weeks she finally got her glasses. At least they were right this time.
Despite that experience, I decided I'd give them a second chance. My prescription is much more simple than my daughter's. I got 2 pairs of glasses, and when they called to tell me they were ready, it was only the reading pair. Personally, I think they should wait for both pairs to be in, or at least tell the customer only one pair is in. My time is worth something and I can't be going back and forth across town.
I tried my readers on, and all I saw was almost double vision. There was a shadow of the word above the one I was reading. The optician said it was because I have an astigmatism and I had to give them a few days. Almost 2 weeks later... Still having the issue, and no one ever called to tell me my second pair was in. I still don't know if they were. I asked for a refund from the branch manager and she was very kind, and refunded everything but the exam, which is fair.
I can't recommend this place to anyone, and their one optician (he's got dark hair and glasses) is very condescending.
