Staff was fine however was not completely honest BEFORE exam. Was told they no longer cover my eye insurance, however they give discounts and exam would be $35 + $29 for DMV form which I told them was the only reason I was here. So I went through exam and expected to pay the $64. I was THEN told I owed $108. I asked how was that as it should be $64 which is what I was told. They said "well the exam is $35 IF you get glasses". I said that is not what I was told in the beginning and I told them I was only here because DMV required it. Will NOT be back except to pick up my form and advised them to give full disclosure to future customer that way they wont lose them.

The service and care you get at Stanton Optical in Bowling Green Kentucky are excellent. Debbie in particular is very helpful and very sweet. I had a very good experience on several occasions and will continue visiting.

Extremely disappointed. There is no optometrist present for exams. Everything is done remotely. I was told I would need bifocal lenses despite the fact that I have never needed reading glasses. I left with nothing more than an overpriced prescription that I dont think is at all correct.

DO NOT GO TO THE OFFICE IN BOWlING GREEN KY! I was given the wrong prescription and paid $80 for it. No insurance self pay. I received the prescription from EYELAB and bought the glasses at Visionworks. When I picked up the glasses at Visionworks the prescription from EYELAB way off. After paying another $80 at Visionworks the prescription they gave me was perfect. I contacted EYELAB in Bowling Green, Ky and was told that because I did not buy the glasses from them that there was nothing they could do for me and that a refund for the exam would not be given. I explained to the lady on the phone that I did not know the prescription was wrong until I received those glasses from Visionworks. Her response was well it’s in the waiver that you sign that they are not obligated to give a refund on exams. I understand a policy is in place for a reason but there is also making right what your company messed up on. So in short I lost $80 to EYELAB for not buying everything through them even though they gave we the wrong prescription. I highly recommend going to an establishment that has a Dr. on sight and not run by a Dr. on a video screen. Very bad experience! I would not give them any stars if I could.
