I've been here twice now, and both experiences have been outstanding. The staff is exceptionally friendly, professional, and goes above and beyond to help. They work quickly, make the entire process easy, and truly care about their customers. I highly recommend them!

I had a fantastic experience at Stanton Optical! Kayce was absolutely wonderful to work with. She really listened to what I WAS LOOKING for and helped me pick out frames as if she were my own sister! We truly came 'together' I appreciated her and her GREAT personality! She made the whole process fun and easy. I am absolutely 💯 ELATED over these frames.
I wanted to give them at least a 2 star because staff was friendly and kind, no complaints there. My issue had to do with appointment time, Dr. video call, and actual pricing. We had an 11:45am appointment came in at 11:35am we didnt leave from start to finish until almost 1:30pm. We also were not told that eye exam was not done by in house doc but would be done via video call. Doctor was quick as opposed to what I am used to with other doctors that take their time to question you on whether one focus or other works best for you, to me I dont care how professional you are you should take the time with patients to double check. Considering how many people have written in reviews that their prescription was off. Now the pricing......the pricing is what got me in the door, as I understood it was $79 with free eye exam for two glasses. When I asked Tammy how the other pricing worked she said basically it is just the pricing of the frame anything with the color coding that was $79 and under was 2 frames promo. Anything over that was buy one get one free. So naturally I calculated that with the frames chosen which were 169.99, even with add ons things may go over the $250 or lower max $300 if they really hit me with random fees, but I was confident they would honor the pricing and I wouldn't go over $200 since it was BOGO. Nope! Tammy turns that screen and tells me, without the discount, I'd be looking to pay over $1000!!!! I dont flinch because i was certain Tammy was gonna hit me with that "you save" line.....sweet Jesus Christ had to help me not say what I was thinking about that business and not take it out on poor Tammy, cause she hits me with "with discounts its gonna cost you instead $785 and some change." I know my face did not hide what I was feelings lol. A almost 465% markup?!?!?! How was that possible!?! she said to factor in the polycarbonate lenses and the blue light protection and i saw the prices for them $98 and almost $40 for blue light even when calculated there's no way that could reach to almost $800, no fudging way nuh uh. I said no ma'am ima just pay for the exam and get the prescription. I told her even when I went to America's best and they had these promos too I never ever paid more than 100 for two pairs and free exam. She then said when was that? I said a year ago and she said yeah well prices have gone up. I dont care even having the money to pay $800 dollars what idiot would pay that much for glasses??? Like why would I throw away my hard earned money just because I have it doesnt mean I should just use it without discernment😂. I then showed her that I got 3 pairs from Zenni Optical with free standard shipping for $106 that i ordered and are coming in next week. (This exam was for my son for school reasons). She tried to tell me that its probably standard lenses and that I dont have the upgrades they offer, I corrected her again and showed her that I got transition lenses and uv protection and blue light protection and all for $106. It was my mistake coming here i should have stuck to America's best and been more patient with their bookings but ugh never again. If yall do go here just pay for exam for the prescription and get your frames online people, times are rough already without these stupid companies paying their workers mediocre pay for them to scam us and keep a straight face. Should be ashamed of themselves.
Eye exam on a video call, what a joke! Husband went to see a different eye doctor and his prescription from Stanton was so wrong the new Dr couldn’t even do a 100% correction because the change would have been so drastic he would have not been able to adjust. I would highly suggest anybody looking for an eye doctor to find a local optometrist who is not a part of this large chain store.
I scheduled an appointment, when I arrived 10 minutes early I was told I didn’t have an appointment I showed the confirmation email and was told to just have a seat. I waited almost 30 minutes past the time of my appointment before they even did any prescreening and then waited an additional 30 minutes before I was seen by a virtual doctor. It’s just completely unacceptable. I never saw anyone wipe or clean any machines including the one in the eye exam room was , and there was no indication that it had been recently cleaned. Staff was short with me when I was asking how long it was going to take. There was no empathy or remorse for the fact that they were an hour past scheduled appointment times and the only answer I could get was well we’re busy on Saturdays, which is exactly why I scheduled an appointment. It should not be an hour beyond my appointment time before I’m even seen and then to receive my prescription I was sent to the side of the store to purchase glasses and when I said I wasn’t buying any the lady had an attitude as well. You took an hour beyond my appointment time. I told them multiple times that I had an appointment elsewhere at 11 that I could not miss. Definitely will not be returning to this location in the future. Unacceptable.
