Stay away at all cost! I had my first initial visit with a virtual person who wasn’t even a doctor I came to find out. They didn’t have my actual prescription in office as a trial pair so they gave me one that was off. I paid up front for 6 months worth of contacts. When the order came in the prescription was wrong. They then had me re-do another exam and provided again another trial pair that still didn’t match my prescription. They said they would order the correct ones and I returned the supply they provided to me. I kept calling to check status of my contacts. After a couple of months with no word and them and saying they had to contact the lab turned out they forgot to order my contacts. So they gave me ANOTHER trail pair but a different brand this time and told me to try this brand out to see if they felt better. They went on to explain one brand was more expensive and if I liked them I would have to pay more. I did tell them which ones did feel better but they said just go a week to see . In that time I was injured and time went by. Today I stopped in to try to get my contacts situated and they said that because time has gone by, they have to talk to the supervisor to see what can be done as everything she was giving me was not fair for why I was in this situation to begin with. The supervisor was not in. I asked for my money back as my no response due to my injury was less time then it took them to figure out their first two mistakes yet, now I’m out $250 with a trial pair of contacts that simply do not work and create a blurt vision for me when I look down. The girl had a smirk on her face when I was explaining how upsetting this was for me as I shouldn’t even have to go through this had they done their job correctly the first time. Her name was Stephanie so she claimed which may not be true. I asked for an email to her supervisor so I can email him to explain the situation she stated she could not provide his “personal” information. I stated I’m not asking for his personal contact I’m asking for the work information. She said I can’t give that out. Service is awful. And even when I was understanding for their mistakes they took no accountability for the issues they caused and the money they took and don’t want to return. Stanton Optical is a rip off.

They are crooked! My Husband went to the wrong address for eye exam. I made his appointment elsewhere, he walked into Stanton in irving asking for Dr. Bryan, they proceeded to assist him knowing they didn't have no Dr. Bryan or my husband name on schedule. They scheduled him themselves in store. They dont accept our insurance but claim he got some discount. My Husband paid damn near 500. It would have been cheaper if he went to the rivht appt. Good luck calling in but I will do stop payment on frames. I will call corporate!!

I called and made an appointment. I was adamant with the person on the phone. I don't have my insurance numbers but it's there. They stated and was reassuring it would not be a problem. Total lie. Want me to pay out of pocket and only got me in the door. Wasted my time. For this reason alone. I'm driving down the street this second to Pearl Vision and I'll pay out of pocket there for not lying to me. Never will I come back to be lied to again.

TODAY 8/7/2026 around 1: 20PM: I really hate leaving a 1-star review, but unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing, and I feel the situation could have been handled so much better. I went in specifically for the 2-glasses special. The style I was originally interested in wasn’t available on the wall, so I went to the website to look at other options. I found a style I liked online and showed the employee the style I wanted, including the color shown in the picture. When I returned today to pick up my glasses, I tried them on and immediately noticed that they were far too small for my face. I asked, “Wait, are these youth glasses?” The employee told me yes, they were made for youth. This is where my frustration really comes in. When I originally selected the glasses, the employee knew they were youth-sized glasses but never informed me of that. Had she simply told me that they were youth glasses when I made my selection on the website, I absolutely would have chosen a different pair. Instead, I was allowed to purchase them without being given that very important information. I asked to speak with a manager or requested a refund because I felt this was a mistake that could have easily been avoided with proper communication. The employee disappeared into the back for approximately 10 minutes. I eventually had to call out, “Hello?” near the employee door before she and another technician finally came out. Unfortunately, the second technician explained that they would not return or refund the glasses and that my only option was to purchase another pair if I wanted something different. That response was extremely disappointing. I completely understand that businesses have policies regarding returns and prescription eyewear. However, when an employee knows that a customer is selecting a youth-sized frame and does not tell the customer that important information, I believe there should be some consideration and customer service involved—especially when the customer is willing to work with the business to find a reasonable solution. plus It states on their website 30 days to return. I never left the store with the glasses and they both refused to give me a refund. What bothered me the most was not even the glasses themselves. It was the lack of communication, empathy, and customer service. I would have appreciated something as simple as, “I’m sorry, I should have told you those were youth frames. Let’s see what we can do.” Instead, I was essentially told no refund, no apology, and spend more money if you want a different pair. I left feeling extremely frustrated and disappointed. I am not asking for something unreasonable. I simply want either a refund or a replacement pair of glasses without having to spend additional money to correct a mistake that I did not make. I hope management takes the time to review what happened because this could have been handled completely differently. I would much rather leave a positive review and feel like a valued customer, but unfortunately, the way this situation was handled left a very bad impression. After leaving the store, I called the Carrollton location to confirm the refund policy. The gentleman I spoke with stated that they do, in fact, offer refunds, especially when a customer is dissatisfied, and that the situation should have been addressed and taken care of while I was there. He was genuinely shocked when I explained what happened, including being told that a refund was not possible and that the staff did not offer any type of solution. I will be visiting the Carrollton location tomorrow to see if they are able to help resolve this situation.

Made an appointment online went in with my insurance was quoted over $300 for what I wanted which is fine. I do the whole pre-exam testing am taken out to look at the frames. They worker comes back and tells me my appointment will be a virtual appointment that already threw a red flag. I told her at the very beginning of everything yes I have a stigmatizim and no I don't want the prescription on my glasses to fix it. It makes me sick when it has been tried in the past. She tells me that the dr will add the fix to my glasses. I told her no, and that if she can let him what I told her and he agrees then fine, but I am not paying over $300 for something I won't be able to use to see that will end up in the trash. This is very unprofessional not having the dr in office then refusing to listen to your patient. Don't waste your time. Go somewhere more professional that will actually listen.
