Excellent optometry office—professional, friendly, and thorough. The exam was efficient and I left with a clear understanding of my eye health.The front desk ladies were super helpful and Lana did a great job helping pick out new glasses, good knowledge of insurance coverage etc . Wonder staff at this place. One in particular I can't say enough about. Chea was so kind caring and showed such compassion. She went about and beyond as a person. She could have just given me my glasses but she was well just wonderful. I can't thank her enough. She a real asset to them.
I just went in to order my 4 year old son glasses. Him and his twin were not being very good, excited running around. The ENTIRE team helped me get glasses picked while entertaining his brother. 10/10 recommend, customer service was off the charts amazing. Thank you for your patience and making me feel welcome!!
Extremely disappointed in Sterling Optical in Deptford. I've been coming to this office for probably 10-15 years now. Most recently, I came for an eye exam and an updated pair of glasses. While I was shopping for glasses, I was deciding between a new pair of everyday glasses or a pair of sunglasses. I ended up going with a pair of regular Oakley frames, and discussed later ordering the sunglasses online since they were unable to set me up with reflective lenses for the Ray Bans I was interested in. No problem I thought. They printed my script for me and I went on my way. Later the same day as I was attempting to order sunglasses online, I found out I need my Pupillary Distance measurement (PD). I figure, oh no big deal I'll call sterling and get it. I was told over the phone that they do not give that info out (I'm sure it's to stop customers from ordering glasses online) After some quick research, I found a website which instructs how to find your own PD measurement, and I'm confident I have a correct measurement after some time with a ruler in front a mirror and some help from a colleague to double check. This is shady practice, and I will absolutely not be back!!! *Update - Went to Friedberg Eye in Mullica Hill for my next pair of glasses and they took extremely good care of me. Highly recommend! They happily handed me my prescription with PD measurements without even having to ask them.
I have been going to Deptford Sterling Optical well over 20 years. Dr. Spivack, and all the Drs. & Staff i have seen have always provided excellent friendly professional eye care. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. I have never experienced anything other than exceptional customer service. Great frame selection, thorough eye exams, reasonable pricing. Positive experience every time.
