I had a very disappointing experience with this optical company and would not return. My first experience was acceptable, although the glasses I received broke. I gave the company the benefit of the doubt and decided to try them again. When I initially called for an appointment, availability was limited and the timing conflicted with back-to-back snowstorms, commuting challenges, and parking issues. After I explained I couldn’t make the date offered, I received repeated calls over several days pressuring me to come in. It was framed as being helpful, but it felt pushy. I finally came in for an appointment on March 5 and paid $132 upfront via Zelle (as requested) toward a $232 balance, with $100 remaining. It is now the end of April and I still do not have my glasses. What is most concerning is the lack of communication. I have called multiple times with no answer and no access to voicemail to leave a message. I also went to the location only to find the door locked during business hours, and have received no explanation or update about glasses I already paid for. At this point, I feel completely disregarded as a customer. Waiting nearly two months with no product, no return calls, and no communication is unacceptable. I either want the glasses I paid for or a refund of my deposit. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this business.

They took care of all the paperwork and explained my benefits clearly, so there were no surprises at checkout. The glasses were ready sooner than promised, and the fit was perfect. If you're in Mill Basin or the surrounding areas and need an optometrist or new glasses, I can't recommend this place highly enough. It's a true neighborhood gem that prioritizes customer care over making a quick sale. I've found my permanent eye care place!!!
