I'm just passing through the area, but I noticed the smell when I was walking in and nearby the entrance...I think it's the people and not the actual store. People who look very run down and zombie like. But I wanted to leave a review because I was looking around for a specific shampoo and an employee noticed and asked if there is anything I am looking for. He was super warm and nice. He then helped another woman right after me and he was kind to her too. I wish I got his name.
We received a store delivery a few days ago at 9:00 at night. The driver miscalculated and really tore up our yard. We do live in a rural area with no street lights but we do have a light at the end of the sidewalk. (Besides, these local rural deliveries should be made earlier in the day). My daughter-in-law yelled at him but we didn’t pursue it any further, not wanting to cause any problems. But…guess what. My deliveries are now being returned to the store as undeliverable. They never say why they weren’t delivered. I usually get the email early in the afternoon so it isn’t a matter of running out of time. I suspect it is revenge. I thought Walmart was better than that!
Bought Pioneer 1 inch Tweeters (car speakers) got home to install them only to realize there was a perfect square cut out of the box; speakers missing. This being an item in a locked case, I obviously brought it back and said I don’t care about the money, but clearly an employee is stealing. The customer assistant gave me a refund. Great. I go back to the speaker section to get another set of tweeters. This time I checked the item after the associate took it to the register and cashed me out, SAME THING. Box cutter hole and speakers missing. I took it to customer support, a manager was called, took my receipts and disappeared for 20 minutes only to return and say it’s not their problem. I don’t care about the money, they weren’t expensive, but they clearly have a thief working there and won’t do anything about it.
I had a great experience at my local Walmart thanks to one standout cashier, the one who wears the top hat! From the moment I got to the register, he was friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. Their positive attitude made the checkout process smooth and enjoyable, and you can tell they take pride in providing excellent customer service. Little touches like that really make a difference. Walmart is lucky to have him, thank you for making my visit a pleasant one!
