Sunset Eye Care

We had such a wonderful experience with Dr. Melissa Petro at Sunset Eye Care! I found her through the InfantSEE program and brought our 6-month-old son in for his first eye exam. She was incredibly kind, patient, and made the entire visit feel easy and fun. She interacted with our son in such a gentle, engaging way that he was completely comfortable the whole time—which says a lot for a baby appointment! I was so impressed with the care and attention she gave us, and I would absolutely go back to see her for my own eye exam. Highly recommend!

I was a patient with the old practice. My experience with the new doctor was very good. I have always enjoyed the staff as most of them remained through the transition. I can’t say enough about Izzy, Salina and particularly Ms. Deborah. She went above and beyond to make sure the fit and prescription was perfect. Highly recommended!

Last year I finally made the decision to see an optometrist for a glasses prescription. Sunset Eye Care was near my office so I made an appointment. I had a wonderful experience and was treated with care and sincerity. My eye technician, Izzy, is always so kind and remembers little conversations we've previously had. Dr. Sam Petro is wonderful, too. He explained everything to me with detail and made me feel very comfortable. I'm grateful to have found this family run medical office and would highly recommend this office to anyone seeking eye care!

Recently switched practices and could not be happier with Dr. (Sam) Petro. He listened to my needs, simplified my contact prescription and put me in a new pair of glasses. Deborah was an amazing help with frames and lenses. Great follow up to make sure that I am happy. Seeing better than I have for years.
