I had a very disappointing experience with SVS Vision. I brought in my reading glasses because the frame needed repair. I was told the frame couldn’t be repaired and that I needed to buy a new one. Even though I believed the original frame was repairable, I agreed, paid for the new frame and waited. What followed was weeks of frustration. I made three separate trips to the store only to find them closed during daytime hours. On my fourth trip, I finally received the new frame, but the lenses hadn’t even been installed. I was told to wait another2 to 3 days. When I finally picked up the completed glasses and tried to clean them, the lens literally fell out into my hand. I had to make yet another trip back. They then said the glasses needed to be sent to the lab, which meant waiting another10 days without my reading glasses. When I finally got them back, my lenses were badly scratched. So badly that it affected my ability to see through them. Those lenses were only about 6 or 7 months old and were in good condition when I brought them in. When I complained, I was told that I must have given them in that condition, which is simply not true. After all the trips, the delays, the inconvenience, and the problems with workmanship, I expected them to at least take responsibility and try to make things right. Instead, I was basically told I needed new lenses or a new prescription. Extremely frustrating experience and very poor customer service. I would not recommend this location.
