Awesome place! Conveniently located on Salina St just south of downtown Syracuse. All of the employees are kind, courteous and professional. A very clean, neat and new facility. No problems making appointments and wait times are short. Not a lot of paperwork to fill out. Sarah Wilfred is an amazing nutritionist--she knows her craft and is helpful and compassionate. Highly recommended!

My experience at Community Health Center in Syracuse was one of the worst dental experiences I've ever had. My dentist was Sarah Dunn, and during my tooth extraction I don't believe the area was adequately numbed because I felt intense pain throughout the procedure. As I was wincing and reacting to the pain, instead of stopping to address it, I was told in a cold, dismissive tone, "Don't yell," while the extraction continued. When my reactions turned into low yelps because of the pain, she threw the instrument onto the tray in frustration and said, "We're going to have to refer you to be put to sleep," before walking out of the room. A week later, I went to Wilson Dental after being referred there. They removed the exact same tooth within seconds, and I experienced virtually no pain. I did not need to be put to sleep, which was especially important because I have sleep apnea. What made this experience even worse was the complete lack of follow-up. Afterward, I called multiple times on multiple phone lines trying to get additional referrals because I refused to return after how I was treated. More than a month has passed, and not a single person has returned any of my calls. No patient should be made to feel dismissed, blamed for expressing pain, or ignored afterward. My experience was terrifying, traumatic, and completely unacceptable. I cannot recommend this practice based on how I was treated.

Don't waste your time here. My experience here has been terrible from the beginning. 1. It's been a month since I was given a referral to another department and they haven't called me to schedule an appointment yet. 2. They DO NOT check MyChart. 3. At one point I was scheduled for an appointment on a day my doctor was off. I waited 3 months for that. 4. Switched doctors and I was forgotten in a room for so long the LIGHT TURNED OFF. I had to find staff to let them know I was still there. 45 minutes later I finally got to see the doctor just so I could get approval to go downstairs and get blood work done. Which took less than 5 minutes.

Stellar place! I was treated with dignity, care, honor, and respect. Short wait times. Friendly front office staff. A clean, neat facility. Conveniently located on Salina St in Syracuse with plenty of free parking. Ryan C. is a wonderful talk therapist. Highly recommended!
